Aram Zobian Crowned As The 2024 U.S. Poker Open Series Champion

The 2024 U.S. Poker Open series concluded in a tense final table showdown, determining its ultimate champion. Aram Zobian and Jesse Lonis were in for a shot at the series title. In the end, it was Zobian who stole the show, emerging as the champion of the series.  Zobian’s impressive performance included a victory in Event #6, a runner-up finish in Event #2, a podium finish in Event #4 and a sixth place finish in Event #6. With his incredible performances, he amassed a stellar 616 PGT points and $613,540, the highest earnings of the series.

This win earned him the coveted $25,000 PGT Passport and the Golden Eagle trophy. With this landmark series title, he joins the elite list of Martin Zamani (2023), Sean Winter (2022), David Peters (2021, 2019), and Stephen Chidwick (2018), who were crowned previous U.S. Poker Open champions. 

Zobian has more than $4,968,000 in live tournament earnings. He currently ranks 197th on the United States All-Time Money List. He now has two career PGT titles under his belt, along with an impressive 19 final table and 24 cashes. His career PGT winnings stand at $2,047,292.

Zobian’s Performances At the U.S. Poker Open 2024

Zobian kicked off the series in style with a second place in Event #2 before final-tabling Event #4, where he finished third. He then followed up that with a win in Event #6. Finally, Zobian capped off his series campaign with a sixth-place finish in the $25k finale, Event #8: $25,200 No-Limit Hold’em.
