The €3,000 Mystery Bounty event held at Sporting Monte-Carlo, as part of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Monte Carlo, was a thrilling one. The event drew a field of an impressive 743 entries, generating a prize pool of €1,274,988, along with €743,000 in bounty prizepool.

The Romanian player Adrian State emerged victorious, winning his biggest career score of €232,989 along with €45,000 bounties. Watching Adrian State play was a special treat to eyes, as the player started the day as the second-chip leader but slipped to third at the final table. However, State was able to last until the heads-up battle with Jamie Flynn.

Jamie held almost double the chips compared to State, so they discussed an ICM deal. But State made a bold choice to play for the win instead of taking the deal. This decision proved to be a winning one, as State doubled up just one hand later. The heads-up battle was intense, but State’s determination paid off.
