India’s inventory of talented and exceptional poker talent is increasing at a rapid and never-seen-before rate. Thanks to the increased penetration of the internet and the rising awareness of the game, the country today has some of the best poker talents who are capable of elevating India’s reputation on the global poker stage.
There are quite a number of players who are not yet established pros but are rapidly marching in that direction. In fact, it’s safe to say it’s just a matter of time before these budding players go on to surpass the veterans and pros in the game of skill. One such upcoming and emerging talent is Aditya Singh.
For anyone who has been following the Indian poker space for some while now, Aditya Singh’s name would sound familiar. The player has been gradually and consistently making headlines for his notable victories as well as cashes on the virtual felts for some time now. Aditya Singh has shown great consistency in multi-tabling across all major poker platforms in the country.
Live Poker Exploits
Talking of his live exploits, according to Hendon Mob, Aditya Singh has been playing live ever since 2018. This includes his 140th-place finish at the Ultimate GOLIATH Stack event at the 2018 Goliath Phamous Poker Series in Las Vegas wherein he pocketed $1,021. This was followed by a 137th finish at the 2018 Grand Poker Series, Las Vegas for $1,041. The same year, he also cashed $470 at the 66th place at the Rio Daily Deepstacks 2018 event in Las Vegas.

In 2019, Aditya Singh recorded his first and only WSOP cash at the WSOP Europe 2019 held in Rozvadov. Here he cashed 36th bagging $1,187 at the €550 Pot Limit Omaha – 8-Handed event.
After a hiatus of more than two years, he recorded another cash at the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) 2022 Main Event held in Goa. Here he had a final table finish at 8th place for ₹4,77,500.
2023 marked his most active year in the live poker circuit with four cashes in the year. He started off the year with a 41st-place finish at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime India series in Goa for ₹1,96,000. He later recorded a 14th-place finish at the High Roller event in the same series for ₹3,86,000.
Later he recorded two cashes at the U Series of Poker – USOP Da Nang series. First by finishing 8th at the Mini Highroller event for ₫ 75,100,000, followed by a 118th place finish at the Main Event for ₫ 53,900,000.
Aditya Singh flaunts $22,429 in total live earnings. His best cash to date has been his 8th-place finish at the DPT Main Event in 2022, wherein he pocketed his career-best of $6,276.
Online presence
On the online felts his results are never-ending. He has won almost every online poker title in the country, regular staples as well as bigger titles like The Godfather, The Pride, The Endeavour, Maverick, NPS, ITM, IOPC, PBC, The Ballers, Millionaire, UVS, FTS, Iron Man to name a few. He flaunts as many as 182 online titles to his name.
Singh has to date accumulated a total of ₹4.55 Crore from his online endeavors. His biggest online cash to date is ₹14,70,280, which he won after taking down the Galactic Series Main Event on PokerStars back in 2022. Currently, he ranks 19th among the Indian players on the virtual felts.
Recent Achievements
Aditya Singh is yet to record live cash this year, however, there’s no stopping him on the virtual felts. He kick-started the 2024 season with a bang by claiming the top spot at PokerBaazi’s 1000X BSS SuperStack event for ₹7,32,945 on January 8, 2024.
On 13th January he also took down The Ballers on Adda52 for a hefty ₹3.82 Lakh, along with a 5th place finish on Spartan Poker’s The Elite for ₹1.37 Lakh.
He followed that up with another win on January 19, 2024, at PokerBaazi’s DailyMiniHighRoller for ₹1,59,160. Interestingly, the same night he also recorded two other final table finishes. This included a 5th-place finish on Natural8 India’s Wonderbox mystery bounty event for ₹5,39,318 and another 3rd-place finish on the same platform at the Daily Deepstack Special event for ₹2,25,601.
Later he started February 2024 by taking down PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹3.62 Lakh. On 16th February he clinched two more titles on PokerBaazi namely The Summit Lite and Daily Mini HighRoller for a payday of ₹1,50,251 and ₹1,69,800 respectively. On 22nd February he continued his streak by claiming victory at PokerBaazi Summit HighRoller for ₹3.18 Lakh.
After an almost two-month-long dry spell, Aditya Singh struck again grabbing headlines for his dual victory on April 17, 2023. He secured the top spot at PokerBaazi’s prestigious TheMoneyMaker for ₹8,98,776, and Pride HighRoller ₹4,31,015. Not only that, he also cashed an additional ₹10,450 for his 8th place finish on the final table of PokerBaazi’s Daily SPRINT.
Aditya Singh’s consistency over the years and his career graph that has only been growing prove that he is one of the rising stars to watch out for in the coming years.
