The highly anticipated schedule for the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) May 2024 edition has finally been unveiled, and it is nothing short of impressive. The upcoming edition of the DPT features a bigger line-up of 14 tournaments spanning from May 21 to 27, 2024, making it the biggest event in the series’ history.
With such an expansive schedule, the 7-day DPT extravaganza to be hosted at the luxurious Deltin Royale casino in Goa offers something for everyone, with the buy-ins starting from a modest INR 11K and steadily going up to INR 1.1 lakhs.
DPT Main Event (May 23- 27, 2024)
As always, the upcoming edition will be headlined by the Main Event featuring INR 50K buy-in and a starting stack of 30K chips. Having three starting flights – Day 1A, Day 1B, and Day 1C – the flagship tournament kicks off on May 23 and concludes on the final day of the prestigious series, May 27, 2024. Satellites to the Main Event are underway, with the last satellite set for May 24 at 8 PM, with a buy-in of INR 5.5K.
Reflecting on the previous main event edition held last October, which also had the same INR 50K buy-in, it attracted an impressive 258 entries, generating a staggering INR 1,16,10,000 prize pool. Sahil Chutani emerged as the champion, walking away with a hefty INR 20.19 Lakhs and the prestigious DPT trophy.
Apart from the main event of the upcoming festival, players can look forward to competing in the Micro Main Event (May 21 to 23) and the Mini Main Event (May 23 to 24), both promising thrilling action and impressive prize pools.
High Roller Events
This time around, the stakes are higher with two high roller events – the high roller and mini high roller, both spanning two days. The high roller has a buy-in of INR 1.10 Lakh and runs from May 22 to May 23, while the Mini Highroller features INR 35K buy-in and runs from May 24 to May 25.
The previous DPT high roller event with the same buy-in saw Raghav Bansal, the inaugural DPT Main Event champion, clinching the coveted victory and pocketing a hefty INR 16.86 Lakhs in prize.
Two Amazing New Tournaments On The Schedule
The upcoming series marks DPT’s 16th edition and promises to be a special treat for players with two amazing new tournaments – Mystery Bounty and a thrilling Turbo Mix (NLH + PLO) tournament.
Mystery Bounty – With a buy-in of INR 33K and a starting stack of 25K, this first-ever event on the DPT schedule runs from May 21 to 22 and features 30-minute levels. Late registration ends at the start of Level 8.
Turbo Mix – Combining NLH/PLO, this amazing new event is set to add an extra layer of excitement to DPT. It will be a two-day event starting on May 22 at 7 PM and concluding on May 23. The tournament features a starting stack of 20K chips for INR 15K buy-in. Late registration for the event will end at the start of Level 8.
Other Major Attractions
PLO Turbo Bounty – This time, the PLO Bounty event comes with a Turbo twist and INR 22K buy-in. The event is scheduled for May 25 at 5 PM and features a starting stack of 20K chips. The late registration closes at the start of Level 8.
Ladies Event – To offer a platform for poker ladies in the country and honour their passion for the game, there is a special Ladies Event on May 25. The INR 16.5K buy-in tournament features a starting stack of 15k and kicks off at 8 PM. The late registration will be open till the start of level 7.
15 Lac Adda52 Freeroll – Everyone loves a round of Freeroll, and DPT is delivering just that with a15 Lac Adda52 Freeroll. The freeroll tournament will be held on the final day of the series on May 27, starting at 6 PM. Players will receive a starting stack of 20k and late registration will remain open till the start of level 9. To qualify for this event, players must play in at least 5 DPT tournaments!
