In a significant move, the live premier poker brand, U Series of Poker (USOP), has announced Erique Tan as Vice President, Operations. The brand shared the news via their Instagram handle a few days back.

Tan is a seasoned industry professional with extensive experience of overseeing operations of the premier live poker tournaments. He has been associated with popular poker brands like World Poker Tour (WPT), Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), Triton Poker Series, Sun City Cup and others. With his proven track in handling large scale- poker events, extensive industry knowledge, and understanding of what it takes to create a superlative live poker experience, Tan is expected to contribute to the growth and success of USOP and take the brand to new heights.
Tan is also an avid poker lover and has taken part in several prestigious events such as WPT Prime Taiwan, and APPT Grand Final, Sydney. He showcased his poker prowess by posting two final table finishes last year at the WPT Prime Taiwan. He finished 8th for $ 1,961 at WPT Freezeout (Event #35) and then followed it up with a 7th place finish for $ 2,775 at WPT Closer Megastack (Event #44).
In January 2024, Tan was a part of a distinguished group of poker experts at the launch of Season XXII of WPT at NagaWorld Resorts alongside some prominent figures like Danny McDonagh, Christopher Paul Gros, Senior Operations Manager, NagaWorld.
