Venetian Las Vegas, a popular resort and hotel in Nevada, USA, is relocating its poker room this summer. Pending Nevada regulatory approval, the new poker room that will feature 50 tables spread across 14,000 square feet will be shifted from the casino floor to level 2 of the Grand Canal Shoppes.

Though the exact reshifting date has not been confirmed till now, according to the press release from the resort, the process will be executed in the summer.

The expansion of the poker room is a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts of reimagining the gaming experience at the Venetian Resort,” said Danny Ruiz, the property’s chief gaming officer, in the release. “The room was designed to provide an elevated playing experience and everything from design details to enhancements were made with the players in mind.”

This is the strategic expansion of Venetian’s current poker room, which is also known as the Sand Poker Room. The current room features 59 tables, which are spread across 14,000 square feet. When it is shifted to a new place, it will feature 50 tables in the same square footage.

Though the current poker room has played an important role in elevating the casino business of Venetian Resort, it still has some flaws. Ruiz also added that the new space would be redesigned according to modern needs that may elevate the players’ experiences. All the amenities will be included based on years of players’ feedback, and some additional features will be added accordingly.

The Additional Feature in Venetian Resort’s New Poker Room

As per the press release, each poker table will have a charging port according to the seat provided. The Coco-Cola fountain will be available for self-serving, which is going to be an exciting element to the room. Additionally, it will also have a kiosk as a resort loyalty program specially designed for the players.

In addition to the features in the new poker room, players will have the flexibility to order food online and have it delivered by the Grand Lux Cafe. The new Venetian Rewards will be introduced with the preference of betting in William Hill Sports. Venetian Resort has partnered with William Hill, USA, which provides sports books and allows gambling in almost 40 sports events in the current room.

Besides William Hill sports betting, the new poker room will continue its DeepStack poker tournament series. In addition to such a popular tournament, the resort is also planning to introduce dedicated live streaming. The players will be allowed to coordinate vlogging sessions in the tournament’s final table.

Till now, the resort has not revealed any information regarding the space occupied by the old poker room after relocation. Additionally, there is no news about the cost of relocation of the new poker space. According to last year’s report, the resort had decided to renovate its convention center, the cost of which was estimated to be $188 million.

The renovation cost was part of a $1 billion capital investment project, which was scheduled to be handled by Vici Properties. This company is owned by the Strip Resort and operated by New York-based Apollo Global Management. But now, there is no current update from the company that will be responsible for relocating Venetian’s poker room.
