Maria Kirloskar Set To Return to Poker Tables After Adda52 Ambassadorship

Maria Kirloskar, a well-known Indian professional poker player and mindset coach, recently wrapped up her impactful role as a Game Ambassador for Adda52, bidding farewell to a fruitful year-long association with one of India’s premier online poker platforms.

Boasting over 25 years of experience in the corporate sector, Kirloskar has leveraged a wealth of expertise to carry out her multifaceted role within the poker Indian industry. Her valuable contributions to the game of poker has made her a sought-after asset for premier Indian poker brands like Adda52, PokerBaazi (May 2017 to June 2019), and Star Poker (October 2015 to July 2016), where she previously worked in similar positions. 

Additionally, Kirloskar has made significant strides as a mindset coach, emphasizing the psychological aspects of the game and enriching the Indian poker community through her insightful contributions through coaching.

She announced her departure from Adda52 recently via a Facebook post that read, “Adda52 and I have gone our separate ways. I wish them continued success.”

Maria Kirloskar’s poker journey began back in 2006 after being captivated by the game’s strategic depth while watching it on ESPN during her professional work trip to the US. That interest gradually grew into a passion, leading her to transition to full-time poker nearly a decade ago.

Before becoming a full-time poker pro, Maria held senior corporate positions. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Allegheny College, Pennsylvania, she also co-authored a book on knowledge management. Her diverse background has significantly helped to enrich her poker career and carve out a special place for her in the poker community. 

As a  brand ambassador for various popular online poker platforms, Kirloskar’s influence has been beyond representation. She has promoted poker as a mind sport, inspiring a new generation of players, particularly women. During her stint with Adda52, Kirloskar, alongside other talented pros like Pratibha Arya, Arun Sriram, and Ram Kakkar, contributed to elevating the game and attracting more players, especially women. 

On the coaching front, her impressive client portfolio that included Tanay Hargunaney, Manash Kalita, Yash Chitre, Pratik Manjrekar, Sameer Agarwal, Alok Dhodapkar and many other players, showcased her impact as a mindset coach, with players achieving notable success under her guidance. 

Following five years of mindset coaching, Kirloskar now dedicates herself to playing full-time, seeking to reconnect with the game’s essence. As Kirloskar embarks on new endeavors, the poker community eagerly anticipates her return to the tables, where her years of experience and deep understanding of the game will continue to shape the Indian poker scene.
