Zarvan Tumboli And Spartan Poker Part Ways

A well-known figure in India’s poker circle, Zarvan Tumboli, has parted ways with Spartan Poker after over a year of being the brand’s ambassador. Tumboli, who was roped in as a Spartan Poker Pro in July last year, took to social media to announce his departure from the platform. This marks the end of a significant association between the live high-stakes player and the widely acclaimed poker platform.

Zarvan took to Instagram to announce his departure from his role at Spartan Poker and share his gratitude. He said, “As I conclude my role as Spartan Poker’s brand ambassador, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for the remarkable journey we’ve embarked on together. Representing a brand that I deeply resonate with has been a privilege.” 

Currently ranked 15th on India all-time money list with a whopping $575,860 in live tournament earnings, the Mumbai poker pro is known for impeccable strategy and skills on the poker tables. His journey with Spartan Poker began in July last year, following his BPT High Roller win in March 2022 and WPT Prime Vietnam Main Event victory that came in May 2022. During his role as the Spartan Poker brand ambassador, he clinched an impressive five titles that include winning VSOP Championship IX Main Event ($52,294) in September 2023, WPT Prime Cambodia Event #9: PLO ($7,000) in August 2022, and APPT Cambodia Mini Main Event ($6,193) in November 2022.

Some of his major live titles on the international felts include winning the Opening Event (Event 1) at APT Macau for HK$ 74,300 and a No Limit Hold’em event (Event #4) at Platinum Series XIX (ACOP) Macau in 2017 and the VN₫ 5,500,000 No Limit Hold’em (Event #3) at WPT Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh in the year 2018.

Tumboli has an outstanding record on home turf as well with several notable titles in his kitty including the IPC 10K Freezeout victory and a BPT Highroller title, which came last year in March. He also served as the pro of MadOverPoker (MOP) in the past and was a contestant in the PokerHigh ‘Palyer Hunt’ Season 2.
