Raminder Singh Secures His Second Ring at WSOPC Harrah’s Pompano Beach

Raminder Singh continues to dazzle the live poker scene! It was just last month that the 48-year-old poker player made headlines for winning the Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship for a career-best score of $486,353 and record-breaking 11th SHRP trophy. The ace player is back into the spotlight, this time for clinching his second WSOP Circuit at Harrah’s Pompano Beach.

On February 12, Singh overcame a competitive field of 583 entries in the WSOPC Event #10: $250 No-Limit Hold’em 30K Starting Stack, winning $21,580 and solidifying his stature in the realm of live poker. Singh, who calls him a “True Poker Amateur”,  has dozens of victories to his name. The latest win marked his third major title of 2024 and took his live earnings close to a staggering $3 Million. 

Singh showcased a stellar performance at Harrah’s Pompano Beach series, cashing in over six tournaments and accumulating over $31,010. Apart from his victory in Event #10, he posted two more final table scores, finishing 5th in Event #13 for $3,358 and 7th in Event #6 for $2,278.

The WSOPC $250 NLHE Event #10 comfortably surpassed its $50,000 guarantee, generating an impressive $116,236 prize pool. Top 88 players won money, with Tanupat Punjarojanakul (88t for $364) becoming the first player to finish in the money. Apart from Singh, Mohan Navani (41st for $514) and Charanjeev Malhotra (86th for $376) were the other Indian-origin players to cash the tournament.
