Hanoi, the poker capital of Vietnam, is gearing up to host another poker tour just after the Asian Poker Festival Hanoi Spring Series. Royal Poker Club, which recently started hosting major poker tournaments and hosting the APF Hanoi Spring Series 2024. The casino is preparing to host their first Vietnam International Poker Tour (VIPT), which is scheduled for April 19, 2024, to April 29, 2024.

The casino announced the tour through its Facebook page, the festival will feature 37 events and will cater to a diverse range of poker players and enthusiasts through its different events, such as Pot-Limit Omaha, Short Deck, NLHE, and other events. Adding to the excitement, it will feature a massive guaranteed prize pool of VND 40 billion (~USD 1.6 million) to be distributed across the 37 thrilling events.
Vietnam International Poker Tour Highlights
VIPT opening day, April 19, begins with two exciting events with attractive prize pools. The kick-off event, with a buy-in of VND 5.5 Million (~USD 225), and the High Roller Warm Up, for a buy-in of VND 22 Million (~USD 880). The high roller event comes with a guaranteed prize pool of VND 3 billion (~USD 120,000), and as per Royal Poker Club, enthusiasts can watch it live on their Facebook page.
On Saturday, April 20, the High Roller Single Day event will be held, in which you can participate with a buy-in of VND 33 Million (~USD 1,347). It will feature a guaranteed prize pool of VND 1.2 Billion (~USD 47,930). The next day, on Sunday, April 21, features the High Roller Championship with a buy-in of VND 44 Million (~USD 1,795) and a prize pool of VND 1.5 Billion (~USD 59,990).
VIPT also has low buy-in events with a whopping prize pool. Vietnam Open, which is scheduled for April 22 to April 24, this event you can compete to win VND 4.5 Billion (~USD 179,700) with a buy-in of only VND 8.8 Million (~USD 360).
VIPT Main Event VND 10 Billion (~USD 400,000)
VIPT Main Event guarantees a prize pool of VND 10 billion (~USD 400,000), with a buy-in of VND 22 Million (~USD 880). The main event starts from the last week on April 25 with four Day 1 flights over three consecutive days. Day 1A has 45-minute levels, while Day 1B and Day 1C will feature 50-minute levels. Day 1D, the turbo heat, offers 25-minute levels.
Before the final day, all levels will be of 45 minutes, with the final day having 60/ 30-minute levels. All players will get 40,000 in chips, and late registration is open for the first ten levels of each day 1.
