The WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica kicked off with Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold’em 30K Opener, which witnessed an intense battle, attracting 148 entries and generating $48,840 in prize pool. Carl Feathers was the last player standing in the tournament and he walked away with $12,691 for his top-notch finish in the tournament.
He entered the final table as chip leader and exited with his first ring after holding the lead for the entire table and defeating Joshua Clanton heads up.The 50-year old Feathers notched up the fourth registered cash of his career, surpassing his previous high score of $2,560.

Saeed Nia Wins WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica Event #2: $400 Mini Main Event
The WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica’s Event #2: $400 Mini Main Event drew in a field of 865 entries, and after 12 hours of battle, Memphis veteran Saeed Nia emerged victorious! He claimed his first-ever WSOP Circuit gold ring and $47,891 payout – his career-best cash. In the final showdown, he bested Ukrainian player Sergii Kravchenko who secured an impressive $29,592 runner-up prize. On the final hand, Nia held Qx 2x and hit trips on the river to win the title from Kravchenko.

American pro Robert Davidson reigned supreme in Event #3: $600 No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty of the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica. Outlasting a field of 174 players in a nine-hour clash, he secured his first-ever WSOP Circuit ring and a $19,496 prize. He eventually defeated Leslie Hollis who claimed a respectable $12,049 for her runner-up finish.

Rhonda Hart Wins WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica’s Event #4 For $17,494
The WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica #4: $300 Seniors Event attracted 340 entries for a $81,060 prize pool and ended after about 13 hours of play with Rhonda Hart of Arkansas winning her first WSOP circuit ring and $17,494 in top prize. Close behind her was Carl Frey who banked $10,812 as the runner-up. Young Chu rounded out the podium finishes, winning $7,783 as the third-place finisher.
“Man that was not easy!” she said after the win as she was relieved to have finished the final table as the winner.

Sanh Vuong Wins WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica’s Event #5 For $13,396
WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica #5: $400 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Max witnessed a fierce competition, attracting 155 entries and generating $51,150 in prize pool, which was finally shared by the top 24 players. Following several hours of grueling play, Sanh Vuong emerged victorious to win his first ring in the 6-Max event. In the final hand against Erik Ramsey, he was dealt with pocket aces, which prevailed to win him the title and the $13,396 top prize. Ramsey banked $8,279 as the runner-up.
This has been a profitable WSOPC campaign for Vuong who finished 9th in Event #2 and 3rd in Event #1. These solid results with the ring put him as the early leader for player of the series in Tunica.

Bonnie Weitzel Wins WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica’s Ladies Event For $6,006
The WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica Ladies#11: $300 Ladies Event attracted 80 entries and collected $19,200 in prize pool. Following 11 hours of play, Bonnie Weitzel emerged victorious to capture her first ring and $6,006. Weitzel came close with a runner-up finish in the Ladies Event in Cherokee last year but this time she was able to seal the title after a heads up with Teresa Lammie Anders who was hunting for her 2nd ring. Anders walked away with $3,712 for her remarkable runner-up finish.
After the win, Weitzel got a big hug from her supporters on the rail who were cheering for her. She then took the winners picture with her little dog Baybe and her husband Lonnie. Weitzel has now qualified for the tournament of champions, which she is looking forward to and already making plans for the same.

Scotland’s Jamie Geraghty Wins 888poker UKPL Manchester for Career-Best £30,610
Over at the 888poker LIVE UK Poker League (UKPL) Manchester Main Event, Jamie Geraghty clinched the victory, securing a career-best score of £30,610, his second five-figure live payout. Joshua Radley put up a tough fight, ultimately finishing runner-up and taking home a £23,040 prize.
Featuring a £560 buy-in, the Main Event attracted an impressive 328 field having some of the UK’s most recognized players like Matthew Davenport, Christopher Johnson, Alex Montgomery, and David Gee, all finishing in the top 50.
Geraghty played some top notch poker at the final table, starting with his elimination of Boyuan Xue after his ace-jack triumphed over Xue’s pocket jacks. Hongting Xu exited in eighth place and was followed by Abulkadir Ahmed who departed in seventh place after his king-queen couldn’t beat Radley’s pocket sevens. Cassandra Yong, the lone woman at the final table, exited when her king-jack lost to Geraghty’s ace-king. Eliminations continued with Stuart Sefton exiting in fifth place.
Following Sefton was Bo Le whose tournament journey ended in fourth place. James Dean Heckle, who had qualified online for just $12.80, earned a cool £ 16,170 for his third-place finish.
At the start of the heads-up both players held almost even stacks. However, Geraghty gradually moved into the chip lead by the time the final hand arose. Radley moved all in with a flush draw on the turn but failed to complete it on the river and Geraghty was crowned as the 888poker UKPL Manchester champion!
