Currently in the spotlight is the young talent Harshdev Jhirmiria, who recently claimed his moment of triumph in Event #11 Mystery Bounty at Poker Dream 9 Malaysia, walking away with a remarkable sum of RM 286,000 (including RM 98K in bounty prize). This victory marks India’s first trophy at the ongoing series and serves as an inspiration for aspiring players in India.
The journey to victory for Jhirmiria was nothing short of remarkable. With a stellar performance, he managed to secure RM 98,000 in bounty prize money, demonstrating his skill and resilience throughout the tournament. Qualifying for Day 2 via the Day 1C flight, he showcased consistency and determination, which are essential for success in any competitive tournament in live poker space.
Chirag Shah (20th for RM 7,600), Amit Kaushik (46th for RM 3,800), Jatin Sablani (66th for RM 3,400), and Ashwin Vijayvergiya (79th for RM 3,000) were the other Indians to cash the tournament.

The Mystery Bounty event at Poker Dream 9 Malaysia was no small feat. With a buy-in of RM 3,000 and a prize pool totaling RM 1.5 million, the stakes were high right from the very start. The tournament had four starting flights and drew in 575 participants to battle it out for the coveted title, with 86 places ultimately being paid out with a min cash worth RM 2,000.
