Anna Wroblewski is a Vietnamese-born American poker player whose rise during the poker boom of the mid-2000s earned her recognition as one of the standout female pros of her time.

Starting her live career in 2007, Wroblewski has accumulated over $1.2 million in live tournament earnings and made her mark with impressive finishes in prestigious events like the WSOP and WPT.

Anna Wroblewski’s Early Life and Introduction to Poker

Anna Wroblewski was born around 1985 in Vietnam and later immigrated to the United States, where she began her professional poker journey. Although there are limited public details about how she was introduced to the game, Wroblewski began playing poker during the boom of the mid-2000s. Starting with cash games, she gradually transitioned to tournament play and quickly gained attention on the circuit.

Poker Career Highlights and Winnings

Anna Wroblewski’s first recorded tournament cash came in 2007, when she earned $7,290 for finishing 16th in the $2,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the Fifth Annual Five Star World Poker Classic. She followed that up by winning the $3,000 NLH event at the same series, scoring a life-changing $337,395 and a seat into the $25,000 WPT Championship. There, she added another $46,410 to her bankroll with a money finish.

Later that summer, Wroblewski made a deep run in her first WSOP appearance, finishing 4th in the $2,000 NLH event at the 38th World Series of Poker and earning $192,876. In 2008, she continued her success by winning the $1,000 NLH Bellagio Weekly Tournament for $21,390 and cashing in the WPT World Championship $25,000 Main Event, finishing 86th for $39,570.

That same year, she also took down the $2,500 NLH event at the 6th Annual Festa al Lago Classic, banking $84,100. She also scored a money finish in the 2008 $10K World Championship Heads-Up NLH, where she finished 39th for $14,438.

However, following 2008, her appearances became less frequent, and she did not score any major cashes for a period. She only played mid and low stakes tournaments for years until her next big score.

Comeback and Recent Performances

After an extended quiet period, Wroblewski returned to the spotlight in 2019 with a podium finish at the Wynn Classic $600 NLH, earning $30,922. In 2021, she ran deep in the $10,000 WSOP Main Event, taking home $23,900. A year later, she finished on the podium at the 2022 WPT World Championship $515 H.O.R.S.E. event, earning $17,903.

In 2024, Wroblewski placed 2nd in the $200 NLH Sunday Special at Orleans Casino, banking $11,000. Her most recent significant score came with a 5th place finish in the President’s Day $5,000 Added $200 NLH event, worth $4,124.

As of now, Anna Wroblewski has accumulated $1,248,816 in lifetime live tournament earnings across 111 recorded cashes.

Legacy and Recognition

In 2016, Wroblewski held the top spot on the Rhode Island all-time money list with $1 million in live poker earnings, an unprecedented achievement for a woman in the state at the time. She currently ranks 3rd on that list, with high-stakes pro Aram Zobian now leading with over $6 million in cashes.

Wroblewski remains a respected name in poker, remembered both for her early successes and her continued determination to compete at a high level.
