Mario Mosböck, Sean Winter & Anatoly Filatov Shine as Latest Triton Jeju Champions

The action is heating up at the 2025 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju and Austria’s Mario Mosböck is the latest winner of the ongoing series. Here is a quick recap of the latest victories from the Triton Jeju festival!

Mario Mosbock Wins Third Triton Title in Triton Poker Jeju $50k Event

The Austrian poker pro and CoinPoker ambassador overcame a massive turnout of 215 entries in Event #8 – $50,000 NLH 7-Handed, earning a massive $1,836,570 and his third Triton title. This was the third largest score for the former soccer player and took his live earnings to a hefty $17.7 million. The win comes less than a week after his runner-up finish in EVENT #2 – $20,000 NLH 8-Handed where he won a hefty  $856,000.

Triton Poker Jeju Event #8 – $50,000 NLH 7-Handed Quick Recap

Event #8 – $50,000 NLH 7-Handed ran from March 4-5 and generated an impressive $10,750,000, which was finally distributed amongst the top 34 finishers with min-cashes starting at $89,000. The final table of the event started with Dylan Linde in the lead and Mosbock third in chips.

Mosbock got off to a good start as he delivered the first elimination in World Poker Tour champion Matas Cimbolas (eighth place). His next victim was Juan Pardo who ran his 9-8 into Q-3 of Mosbock to exit in third place, leaving poker legend Bryn Kenney and Mosbock  in heads-up.

Kenney began the final duel with 25,750,000 to Mosbock’s 17,250,000. The two soon reached a deal to redistribute the remaining prize money. Kenney locked up $1,897,430, while Mosbock was assured $1,766,570.

The two contenders set aside $70,000 and the coveted title to play for. In the end, it was Mosbock who prevailed to win the title. On the final hand, Kenney, left with 10 big blinds, shoved with 9d 8c and Mosbock snap-called with Qs Qd, which held up to win him the title. Kenney had to settle in second place, earning a $1,897,430 as part of heads-up deal.

Sean Winter Beats Mikita Badziakouski To Score First Triton Poker Title

Prior to Mosböck’s victory, Sean Winter etched his name as the first-time Triton winner. The American pro overcame a field of 223 entries and bested five-time Triton winner Mikita Badziakouski in heads-up, claiming victory in Event #7 – $40k NLH Mystery Bounty. Winter secured $935,000, plus $140,000 from three bounties for a total $1.075 million.

This was Winter’s first title of 2025 and grew his live earnings to $34.8 million.

Triton Poker Jeju Event #7 – $40k NLH Mystery Bounty Quick Recap

This bounty tournament ran from March 3-4 and drew 223 entrants, building a massive $8,920,000 (including $4,460,000 in bounties), which was finally shared by the top 34 finishers. The final table of the event began with Mikita Badziakouski in the lead and Winter in fifth chip position. Two-time bracelet winner Kahle Burns (8th – $115,000) was the first to hit the rail and he was followed by six-time bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmus. Winter delivered the next knockout by sending Biao Ding out in sixth place.

Eliminations continued and the heads-up was reached when Badziakouski busted Klemens Roiter in third place. Roiter’s  A-J ran into the A-Q of Badziakouski ending his run in third place for $441,000 and $280,000 in bounties -the second largest score for the Austrian.

That set up heads-up with Badziakouski starting with a slight lead. Winter quickly overtook the lead and eventually won it. In the final hand, he called an open shove of Jd 6d from Badziakouski with his Ah 6s and the board ran out Kd Qc 10c 5c 3h, sealing the victory for Winter with ace high.

1 – Sean Winter, USA – $935,000 (+$140,000 in bounties)

2 – Mikita Badziakouski, Belarus – $630,000 (+$420,000 in bounties)

3 – Klemens Roiter, Austria – $441,000 (+$280,000 in bounties)

4 – Matthias Eibinger, Austria – $363,000 (+$750,000 in bounties)

5 – Ben Tollerene, USA – $287,000

6 – Ding Biao, China – $218,000 (+ $260,000 in bounties)

7 – Jeremy Ausmus, USA – $157,000 (+$40,000 in bounties)

8 – Kahle Burns, Australia – $115,000 (+$220,000 in bounties)

Anatoly Filatov Wins $25K NLH WPT Global Slam For His First Win In Jeju

Another winner crowned on March 4 was Russia’s Anatoly Filatov, who topped a star-studded field of 389 in Event #6 – $25,000 NLH WPT Global Slam at  2025 Triton Poker Jeju, claiming the $1,882,000 top prize and his first Triton title. This was his career-high score, topping the $1,007,104 he earned for a third place in the 2019 WSOP Europe €100,000 high roller. He now has more than $8.7 million in live earnings.

Filatov eventually defeated Calvin Lee in heads-up, who started the duel with 43,500,000 to Filatov’s 53,700,000. The latter was able to grow his advantage further and eventually ship the title. On the final hand, Lee shoved from the button for 14 big blinds with Ad 4c and Filatov called with Kd Qh. The board ran out Kh 9c 8d 10d Qs, giving Filatov the title.

Triton Poker Jeju Event #6 – $25,000 NLH WPT Global Slam Quick Recap

Event #6 – $25,000 NLH WPT Global Slam drew a field of 389 entrants to generate a prize pool of $9,725,000 and paid out the top 63 players. Several notables cashed this event, including Spain’s Adrian Mateos (40th) women’s all-time money leader Kristen Foxen (20th), Triton co-founder Paul Phua (16th), two-time Triton champ Michael Soyza (11th).
