The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) continues to crown new champions and award hefty cash prizes. Two more bracelets were awarded on Day 43 of the ongoing series, with American poker legend Chance Kornuth winning WSOP Event #85: $1,000 GGPoker Flip N Go for his fourth bracelet and $155,446 in top prize money. He overcame a field of 1,088 entrants and bested Thailand’s Kannapong Thanarattrakul in the heads-up. Thanarattrakul took home $103,633 as the runner-up finisher.

The heads-up did not last long with Kannapong Thanarattrakul shoving with ace-four in the very first hand and lost to Kornuth’s queen-jack when a jack appeared on the turn.
