Eric Taylor Wins 2025 WSOP Circuit Choctaw Main Event 

The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Choctaw Main Event has officially concluded with Eric Taylor emerging victorious, taking home a six-figure score of $259,721, and the coveted gold ring. Eric Taylor, who started his live poker career in 2011, had just $55k in live poker earnings, but his latest victory has now pushed his total earnings to over $300k. 

The $1,700 buy-in Main Event saw a massive turnout of 1,070 entries across two flights, generating a gigantic prize pool of $1,621,050. The money bubble burst on Day 1B, with the top 162 players collecting a mini-cash of $3,404. 

WSOP Circuit regular Debie Lee finished 2nd, picking up her career-best $173,145 payout, while Thomas Romeo scored his third final table finish of the series collecting a career-high $120,563 for finishing 3rd.

Manish Ralh Ships 2025 WSOP Circuit Calgary Main Event

The 2025 WSOP Circuit Calgary Main Event saw rookie Manish “Bubs” Rahl topped a field of 1,371 entrants, winning his career’s first gold ring and a career-high six-figure score of $312,624. Rahl previously had accumulated live earnings of $80,640, which are now close to $400k after his latest victory. 

The tournament generated a massive total prize pool of $2,077,065, from 1,371 entrants.

In the end, it was the top 159 players who split the massive prize pool. Ashkan Razavi made it to the podium collecting $147,340 for his 3rd place finish. Angelo Jopek ended up as the runner-up, leaving the tournament with a staggering $208,416 payday.

Martins Adeniya Wins 2025 Lucky Hearts Poker Open 

The 2025 Lucky Hearts Poker Open (LHPO) has crowned its first champion of the year – Martins Adeniya. The $3,500 LHPO Championship ran from Jan 17 to Jan 21 and saw a turnout of 1,162 entrants, which almost doubled the $2 million guarantee for a total prize pool of $3,718,400. 

As the dust it was English player Martins Adeniya who emerged victorious, earning a career-best payday of $512,000. It was also Adeniya’s third live poker victory after his second coming in 2014. His latest live poker victory, after a decade, pushed his total live earnings past $2 million. 

Adeniya defeated American pro Spencer Champlin in the heads-up, while Champlin finished second leaving the tournament with a career-best live cash of $425,000. Calo Sobral finished 3rd to collect a whopping $275,000.
