PokerGo has uploaded the latest episode of High Stakes Poker, where we see a thrilling High-stakes battle that nearly touches $800k. This time, we see a billionaire vs. billionaire face-off. Sameh Elamawy goes up against Stanley Tang in a pot worth nearly $800k. Here is a short recap of the highlighted hand.
The blinds were $200/$400, with a $400 big blind ante and a straddle to $4,000. Tang raised $25,000 with 10h-10d, and $355k in front of him. Elamawy called the raise with 8h-8d. Elamawy, who had Tang covered with a $842,000 stack, called. The action then came to Brandon Steven, who held Jd-3d, but he folded.
The flop came down 10s-9c-7s, and Tang, who flopped a set, bet another $35,000 into the pot. Elamawy didn’t hold back, having a straight draw. He raised it to $175,000. Tang quickly moved all in, and Elamawy called the all-in. Both players agreed to run it twice for the whopping $765,500 pot.
The turn came 2s, and 3s fell on the river. This didn’t improve anything for Elamawy, but Tang confirmed half of the pot. Disappointed, Elamawy said, “Uh, the first one is for you.” In the second runout, Jc fell on the turn, giving a straight to Elamawy.
Unfotunately for Elamawy, the 9d on the river turned the tables, giving Tang a full house. Tang scooped the massive $765,500 to jump up the ladder.
