After parting ways with GGPoker, the high-stakes maestro, Jason Koon, has signed a deal with Poker Royalty, the world’s leading poker agency. The move comes just a few days after the WSOP bracelet winner and 10-time Triton champion stepped down from his ‘Integrity Ambassador’ role with GGPoker.
Koon will join the star-studded roster of Poker Royalty, which includes poker legends like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, and the 2023 WSOP Main Event, Daniel Weinman.

A Little About Koon and His Journey
Hailing from Weston, Virginia, Koon was born on August 14, 1985. He received his Masters Degree in Business and Finance from West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. To get rid of boredom during a serious injury, Koon learned Texas Hold’em from his roommate, the rest is history.
At the time of writing this, Jason Koon sits 3rd on the US All Time Money List with $55,762,107 in live tournament earnings. Playing poker since his college days, Koon earned his first WSOP cash in 2009. His largest cash came in 2018 at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series when he won the HK$1,000,000 NLH – Short Deck Ante Only 1M event for $3,579,836. Koon earned his first WSOP bracelet in 2021 by winning the WSOP $25k NLH Heads Up Championship event. His most recent victory came at the Triton Super High Roller Series Monte Carlo in November 2023 when he emerged victorious in the PLO Turbo (Event #13) and took home $365,000.
