The World Poker Tour is gearing up for the WPT Global Warm Up Poker Festival. It is an online poker festival, which will be exclusively for WPT Global users. The festival kicks off today (April 19) and concludes on April 28. The festival has a whopping guaranteed prize pool of $2.5 Million, which you can win by participating in various events. There are daily warm-up tournaments with massive prizes ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
WPT Global Warm Up Festival 2024 Highlights
The main highlights of WPT Global Warm Up are the $220 Championship event with $300,000 guaranteed, and the $22 Mini Championship with a prize money of $80,000. The Championship event offers seventeen starting flights, while the Mini Championship features fourteen different flights.
The festival will also feature a variety of poker events, like bounty events, high roller events, short deck events, No Limit Hold’em events, progressive bounties (PKO’s), and many more.
Throughout the festival, players have the opportunity to participate in three of the Sunday Flagship tournaments.
- $110 Sunday Slam – $90,000 Guarantee
- $330 Grand Slam – $60,000 Guarantee
- $11 Mini Slam – $13,500 Guarantee

Benefits and Perks for Event Winners
As an added perk, WPT Global Warm Up Festival event winners will get a doubling of their buy-in in Spring Festival tickets. That means, if you score a top spot in the $55 Progressive Bounty, a $110 in Spring Festival tickets will be added to your WPT Global account.
The winners will also get a ticket to the Champion of Champions in a post-festival freeroll. The Champion of Champions event winner will receive a $12,400 WPT Global Spring Festival package. Additionally, the second and third-place finishers will each receive Spring Festival tickets valued at over $1,000.
In case you weren’t able to win any events at the Warm Up festival but reached the final table then you will gain an entry into Second Chance Freeroll. Winner of the Second Chance Freeroll will reclaim all his Warm Up Festival buy-ins. Second and third-place winners will each receive $500 in Spring Festival tickets.
All Warm Up Festival events are part of the Player of the Year leaderboard for 2024. All participants will receive some points as per their position in the events and have a chance to win some money from the $250,000 leaderboard prize pool. The leaderboard topper will receive $100,000 and an entry into four separate WPT Main Tour Championship live events in 2025.
