Daniel Negreanu aka Kid Poker has announced his schedule for the 2024 World Series Of Poker event. The sixth-time WSOP bracelet winner will take part in WSOP 2024, which will take place in Las Vegas from May 28 to July 17. But Negreanu’s schedule for the upcoming live poker festival is not as robust as it was for last year’s WSOP.
In the 2023 WSOP, Negreanu announced his WSOP 2023 schedule which was very rugged, he only gave himself 1 day off in an entire WSOP month. Negreanu prepared to play 88 gold bracelet events, but he was only able to play 70 events later.
Negreanu ended up playing in the $300 buy-in Gladiators of Poker NL Hold’em event, which was shocking for poker enthusiasts as kid poker is not known for playing low-stakes games. He finished at number 72 out of 23,088 entries in Gladiators of Poker. In the 2022 WSOP, Negreanu posted about playing 49 events at the World Series of Poker.
For 2024, Negreanu wants to focus on quality events rather than participating in large amounts of events daily. He posted in January that his WSOP 2024 schedule will be his lightest. He would focus on “quality over quantity”, and will take more days off in between events. Negreanu recently posted his schedule for WSOP 2024. As per the schedule, he will participate in 45 events and he didn’t include online events. There are a total of 99 bracelet events on this year’s WSOP schedule, which means he is going to play less than half of them. Of the 45 events he posted about playing, all 28 PGT-qualifying events were there on his list.

Negreanu has planned to participate in 45 events and below you can see all the 45 events. According to reports, Negreanu’s main focus will be on higher buy-in events, so he is likely to skip low-stake events.
