The 17th edition of Poker Dream has officially wrapped up at Resorts World Genting, with Singapore’s Ong Ding Xiang being crowned the champion. Xiang took down the Poker Dream 17 Main Event, securing the coveted trophy and a top prize of $174,785.
The Singaporean pro entered the final table as the chip leader and maintained his advantage throughout the day, ultimately emerging as the newest Poker Dream champion. With this win, Xiang has now brought his lifetime poker earnings close to the $1 million mark.
Xiang has been a regular on both the Asian and American poker circuits. His career-best score came in the 2019 WSOP Event #16: $1,500 NLH, where he finished runner-up for a $251,937 payday. He also clinched the 2023 APPT Manila National title, earning $41,337. Here’s a quick recap of his impressive victory at the Poker Dream 17 Malaysia Main Event.
