PokerGo Tour has announced the ninth edition of Poker Masters, held inside the PokerGo Studio from September 10 to 19, 2024. Poker Masters is part of the 2024 PGT season and will be the eighth poker series this season.

The series consists of eight No-Limit Hold’em events, with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200. The first $5,100 event will kick off on September 10th with a 30-minute blind level, and registration will close at the start of level 9.

However, the blind levels extend to 40 minutes for Events 2 to 7 and the registration closes at the start of level 7. While the Main Event with a $25,200 buy-in has a 45-minute blind level, registration will close at level 7. In addition, the events won’t feature unlimited re-entries; players can only re-enter twice per event.

All 8 events will have two days to crown the winner, with Day 1 concluding once the final table of six is set. Enthusiasts can watch all the final tables of Poker Masters on PokerGo.

To make the series fast-paced, players will have 20 seconds to act pre-flop and 30 seconds post-flop. In case anyone needs more time to think, they can use the 30-second time extension. Players will begin with eight time extensions per entry before the first break and six more after the break.

Poker Masters’ Previous Winners

PokerGo started Poker Masters in 2017, with winners being decided upon points, which players can get by winning events or final table finishes. Some previous Purple Jacket winners are Stephen Chidwick (2023), Sean Winter (2022), Michael Addamo (2021), Sam Soverel (2019), and Steffen Sontheimer (2017).

In 2020, PokerGo hosted the series online on PartyPoker, in which Eelis Parssinen (2020) and Alexandros Kolonias (2020) received the jacket.

Poker pros like Daniel Negreanu, Jeremy Ausmus, Aram Zobian, and Jesse Lonis are fan favorites to win this year’s Purple Jacket.
