Natural8 India director and ambassador Kunal Patni continues to make waves at the ongoing Asian Poker Tour—APT Phu Quoc 2024 series. A celebrated poker veteran from Mumbai with over $ 1 million in live earnings, he has claimed India’s first trophy at the ongoing Phu Quoc 2024 series in Vietnam. Following his back-to-back final table scores in the series, Patni finally clinched victory in Event #37: Tick Tock BOOM, outlasting a competitive field of 46 entries and pocketing a prize money of VND 93,449,200.
Currently ranked #10 on India`s all-time money list, Patni, who is already a two-time APT champion, has been making headlines right from the start of the mega live series. He kicked off India’s campaign in style with a final table finish (9th for VND 82.27 Million) in Event #1: VND 9 Million Vietnam National Cup and then followed that score with a runner-up finish for VND 35.70 Million in Event #19: VND 4 Million Tick Tock BOOM! Super Hold’em.
Not resting on his laurels, Patni continued and quickly jumped into Event #37: Tick Tock BOOM of the series. This time, he went boom boom, closing it out with victory and winning India its first trophy at the ongoing APT series in Vietnam. Patni has now become a proud third time APT champion after his boom boom victory at the APT Phu Quoc 2024, which is running at the stunning Corona Resort & Casino with a massive VND 44 Billion ($1.70 Million) in guaranteed prizes across 82 trophy events.
However, it was not only Kunal Patni who made waves in #37: Tick Tock BOOM as another Indian Harsh Bharti also made it to the final table, finishing 5th for VND 2,47,40,000. This was Bharti’s first final table, bringing India’s final table tally to four, with three of these final table scores credited to Kunal Patni himself. Team India’s presence has been really impressive, and Patni’s spectacular run in the ongoing series is testament to his skill, determination and commitment to the game.
Notably, Patni has also made a strong impact in the prestigious Main Event of the series, qualifying from Day 1A of the event with a stack of 73,400. He is literally on fire and definitely a player to watch out for, especially at the ongoing series.
