Victoria Livschitz Steps Up To Lead OctopiPoker As CEO

Victoria Livschitz is set to lead OctopiPoker as its new CEO, following Andrew Lichtenberger’s decision to step down. The announcement was made via Livschitz’s post on her X account, where she shared details about the leadership transition within the company.

“In the last few weeks, OctopiPoker’s leadership engaged in deep discussions about the path forward. After much deliberation, it was decided that I would step up to lead the company as CEO,” Livschitz wrote in her post.’

With several final table finishes in high roller events, three Poker GO titles and an EPT title, Victoria stands among the elite poker players of the world. She secured her first cash in 2017 and since then has more than $2 million in live poker earnings. Most recently, she was seen at EPT Cyprus where she finished 44th in the Main Event, earning $ 18,240.

She revealed that Andrew Lichtenberger, also known as “LuckyChewy,” stepped down to focus on personal pursuits.” But she said that LuckyChewy will always remain a co-founder and friend of the company, as he has chosen to leave the company to focus on his own journey. Lichtenberger, one of the company’s founding members, played a pivotal role in establishing OctopiPoker alongside Livschitz, Johan Buchtrup Schultz-Pedersen, and Max Gorbunov.

Livschitz emphasized that other leadership roles will remain unchanged. Johan Schultz will continue as Chief Product Officer, and Max Gorbunov will retain his role as Chief Technology Officer. High-stakes poker pro Stephen Chidwick will also remain the company’s Ambassador, representing the platform in high-stakes poker games.

“I will step up to lead the company as CEO, alongside Stephen Chidwick as Ambassador, Johan Schultz as Chief Product Officer, and Max Gorbunov as CTO,” Livschitz confirmed.

She concluded her announcement with a heartfelt message to Lichtenberger: “I cannot write this note without expressing deep personal gratitude to LuckyChewy, who has been my mentor, inspiration, partner, and best friend over the past three years as I discovered the magical world of poker and my place in it. I will cherish our collaboration for the rest of my life.”
