Mudgal emerged victor in Event 56: Mystery Rush Bounty yesterday after defeating a star-studded field of 270 entries. The musician-turned poker poker from Delhi secured an impressive VND 293,000,000 in prize money, following a heads-up deal with England’s Jun Li (runner-up for VND 303,100,000).

Abhinav Iyer Finishes 4th in 2024 USOP DaNang Super High Roller

But Mudgal wasn’t the only Indian making waves at the USOP Danang 2024. India’s Abhinav Iyer, a distinguished WSOP bracelet winner, displayed his remarkable talent by securing the fourth position in Event #46: Super High Roller just two days before Dhaval’s victory, accentuating India’s presence in the ongoing series.

Iyer walked away with VND 1.224 Billion for his efforts. This marked his seventh live cash of the year. The latest score reaffirmed his status as one of India’s top poker talents and took his live earnings to $1,779,452.

The tournament was eventually won by Australia’s Adam Samir Kharman who conquered a field of 194 players to clinch VND 3.406 Billion in top prize. He also made a deep run in Event #38: Mini High Roller, snagging 11th place for VND 53.80 Million. Korea’s Juyeol Lee put up a valiant fight in the Super High Roller but had to ultimately settle for the runner-up spot worth VND 2.26 Billion payday.
