In this report, we will recap the victory of Tom-Aksel Bedell, who has become the second-oldest player ever to clinch victory in the Triton Series. Meanwhile, back in the USA, Dan Lowery collected his 17th career circuit ring, ranking 3rd on the circuit ring leaderboard.

Tom-Aksel Bedell Wins His Maiden Triton Title In Jeju

Norwegian PLO Specialist, Tom-Aksel Bedell, took down the opening PLO event at the Triton Poker SHRS Jeju. With the victory, Bedell becomes the second-oldest player ever to win in the Triton Series at 64. It was the veteran player’s first Triton Title as well, for which he took home a career-best $709,000 paycheck. This victory brought Bedell’s live earnings past $4.4 million, to cross Annette Obrestad, and rank 4th on Norway’s all-time money list.

The $25k buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Triton Event saw an entry field of 117. The game’s finest try a shot at winning the Triton PLO Event. Of the 117 entries, 19 players went home with a payday. Phil Ivey and Erik Seidel made it to the final table. However, they headed to the rail in 5th and 7th place, respectively.

UK’s Richard Gryko rounded out the podium for a $320k third-place prize. China’s Shi Ning Dan, finished as the runner-up to collect the second-place prize money of $486,000.

Dan Lowery Claims His 17th WSOP Circuit Ring

Daniel Lowery triumphed in the $250 Seniors Event at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Hard Rock Tulsa, collecting his career 17th circuit ring and a $17,187 top prize. Lowery’s current live earnings is at $3.6 million, and with the recent victory, he pushed his lifetime WSOP earnings past $2 million.

The $250 buy-in Senior event saw a turnout of 448 entrants, In the end, it was the circuit regular, Dan Lowery who emerged victorious securing his 17th circuit ring, to run 3rd on the circuit all-time leaderboard. Of the 448 entrants, only the 68 players went home with a payday from the $90k total prize pool.

Daven Flax finished 3rd to collect $7,953. Basil Swesis ended up in 2nd place for a $11,457 payout.
