It’s been just over a month since the World Series of Poker has wrapped up, and after a short break, WSOP is making a comeback in September 2024 with the World Series of Poker Europe with a staggering guarantee. Besides the WSOP Europe, September is packed with several other high-profile poker tournaments featuring huge guarantees.
Notably, the Wynn Casino Las Vegas is hosting its in-house tournament Wynn Signature Series with a massive $2.3 million in guarantees from Aug 12 – 5, 2024. Here is a look at the all big live poker tournaments happening in the month of September.

1 – 2024 World Series of Poker Europe – September 8 – October 9
The World Series of Poker is returning just a month after the record-breaking 2024 World Series of Poker. The 2024 World Series of Poker Europe is set to take place in Europe’s prestigious poker room, King’s Resort Rozvadov. The series features a staggering $16 million in guarantees with $1.6 million reserved for the 2024 WSOPE Main Event.
The WSOP Europe will start on September 28 and will conclude on October 9 with a live streaming of the Main Event final table. It features several low-to-high buy-in tournaments for every bankroll, promising something for everyone.
2 – 2024 APT Taipei Poker Classic – September 27 – October 7
Poker action in the Asia continent is going to be a superlative one as the prestigious Asian Poker Tour is returning to the Chinese Hold’em Poker Club with a $2 million Main Event guarantee. CTP Asia Poker Arena and Chinese Mahjong League will host the 2024 Asian Poker Tour (APT) Taipei Poker Classic from September 29 – October 5, along with the Main Event guarantee it will offer an extra $2.5 million in other events.
Aside from the main event, the series features various poker events, such as APT Super High Roller with $339k GTD, Zodiac Classic event with $613k GTD, and other events with substantial guarantees
3 – Poker Dream 12 Jeju – September 26 – October 6
After the success of Poker Dream 11 Malaysia, Poker Dream is now going to return to Jeju, with its Poker Dream 12 Jeju with a $2 million in the main event guarantee. In addition to the $2 million guarantee, an extra $1 million will be spent among other events.
The series will be held at the Landing Entertainment Casino, Jeju, from Sept 26 to October 6. India’s Nishant Sharma won the Poker Dream 11 Malaysia Main Event, collecting over $183,000.
4 – PGT 2024 Poker Masters – September 10 – September 19
PokerGo Tour‘s Poker Masters is returning this year and will be held at the ARIA Las Vegas. Poker Masters is a series of No Limit Hold’em from low to high, which will attract some of the biggest names in poker.
The main attraction of the series is the $25,000 High Roller Main Event, which will have a $1 million + prize pool. In addition to the cash prize, players will receive PGT Points to receive the purple jacket. Furthermore, the final table will be live-streamed on PokerGo.
5 – Moneymaker Poker Tour – September 17 – September 30
Chris Moneymaker is going to host the Moneymaker Poker Tour, with over $1 million in series guarantees, and half of it will be reserved for the Main Event with a $500,000 Guarantee. Hardrock Casino in Cincinnati will host the tournament from September 17 to 30 September.
6 – EPT Barcelona Main Event – September 1 – September 8
The €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event is set to begin on September 1 and conclude on September 8. EPT Barcelona is currently underway inside Casino Barcelona, but the main attraction of the series is the €5,300 Main Event, which will feature a massive prize pool.
Pokerstars hasn’t announced any guaranteed prize pool for the main event, but it is surely going to exceed more than $5 million. The 2023 EPT Main Event attracted approximately 2,294 players, building up a €10.2 million prize pool. As PokerStars celebrates its 20th Anniversary, players can expect to hear some exciting news.
