Global Poker Index (GPI) is one of the most regarded and accurate records to know the poker pros who have been achieving great results in recent times on the global stage. The Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings are consistently updated, thus offering insights into the current standings of the world’s top poker players.

These GPI rankings are instrumental in  understanding the current poker landscape on a global level since it aggregates player performance across various poker tournaments and series. This, it provides a comprehensive view of who is dominating the scene.

Leading the GPI Poker Rankings globally is USA’s Jesse Lonis. The player has continued to dominate the ranking for three weeks straight. He sits with the highest score of 4,099.07 GPI points.

What makes Jesse Lonis’ top spot more special is the fact that he has not cashed for more than a month now and still continues to lead the rankings. He was last seen at the World Poker Tour – WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown series in Hollywood in mid-April. Here he finished at the second runner-up spot at the No Limit Hold’em – WPT Showdown Championship (Event #58) event. From this third-place finish, he bagged $410,000 in prize money and 476.29 GPI points.

Prior to that, he made headlines for recording three final table finishes and one title at the PokerGO Tour – PGT U.S. Poker Open 2024 (USPO) event in Las Vegas in April. He took down the No Limit Hold’em – U.S. Poker Open (Event #2) event for a staggering $252,450.

Not very far behind Jesse Lonis, at the second spot is China’s Tony “Ren” Lin. This Chinese pro has also been enjoying the second spot for nearly three weeks now. He takes the runner-up spot with 4,086.25 GPI points to his credit. Notably, Tony Lin is just about 13 points behind Jesse Lonis. Additionally, this also makes Tony Lin the number one player on China’s GPI ranking.

At the third spot is USA’s Bin Weng. With 3,974.88 GPI points to flaunt, Bin Weng has been enjoying the third spot for three weeks now. Bin Weng recently nailed the top spot at + 390 No Limit Hold’em – Mirror Mystery Bounty (Event #14) at the Borgata Spring Poker Open 2024 held in Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
