Maurice Hawkins has once again etched his name into the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) history books, tying him with Ari Engel for the most Circuit titles with 19th ring.
Already the tour’s all-time money leader with nearly $3.2 million in earnings, Hawkins entered 2025 on a mission and has already captured three WSOP rings. He started the year two titles behind Engel, but his hat-trick wins have brought him back on top of the WSOPC ring leaderboard, tying him with Engel, who has picked up just one win in 2025.
Hawkins’ first two circuit ring victories came in February, when the player took down WSOP Circuit Pompano Park $400 NLH for $16,137, and went on to close out the month with his sixth Circuit Main Event victory. In addition to the victory at the recent WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica, it was his eighth final table finish of the year 2025.
His recent circuit victory came at the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe when he took down Event #6: $400 NLH Monster Stack, pocketing $34,711 along with the gold ring. He also further cemented his position as Missouri’s all-time money list with over $6.6 million in lifetime tournament winnings.

The $100k guaranteed Event #6: $400 buy-in no-limit hold ’em Monster Stack event drew 571 entries across two Day 1 flights, resulting in a $188,430 total prize pool. 75 players made it into the money, with only 30 players returning for the final day.
Mike Mieszala rounded out the podium for $15,081 payouts. Hawkins defeated Dylan Crawford in the heads-up duel. Crawford earned a career-best $21,542 for his runner- up finish, bringing his live earnings close to the $100k mark.
