E-Gaming Federation Appoints Ankur Gupta As Adviser For Legal Policy

The E-Gaming Federation (EGF) has appointed Ankur Gupta as an advisor for Policy and Legal research. Ankur is a lawyer with nearly two decades of expertise in handling intellectual property rights, copyright and trademarks, and IT law, among other areas. 

Ankur will advise on implementing global best practices in law and regulatory affairs, aiming to position India as a leader in future technologies. Ankur has previously worked in Singapore’s public and private sectors. His career includes roles as a public servant, lecturer, and attorney. He is renowned for his expertise in the intersection of law with business, politics, education, and training.

With the collaboration with Ankur, EGF wants to enhance player protection, transparency, and responsible gaming within online gaming regulations. Ankur will work closely with EGF to provide valuable advice regarding legal affairs, and foster the growth and advancement of the online gaming sector.

Anuraag Saxen, the CEO Of EGF said, “His experience in teaching law and advising the government of Singapore uniquely positions him to drive best practices for India’s tech ecosystem. Ankur’s expertise and leadership in the legal field will help us navigate through India’s complex online gaming industry.”
