The much-awaited Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) is here. The 16th edition of India’s premier live poker series kicks off in two days with some spectacular tournaments on its schedule. The highly anticipated DPT May 2024 Edition powered by Adda52 will run from 21 to 27 May 2024 at the luxurious Deltin Royale, Goa. The upcoming series is expected to see the who’s who of poker mark their attendance at the event.
The previous editions have seen several many players showcasing their skills and etching their names in poker history. The 15th edition of DPT held in October last year captured the enthusiasm of over 700 + passionate participants and collected more than INR 2.5 Crores in prize money across 9 events.

The DPT October 2023 edition had seasoned pro Sahil Chutani shipping the Main Event for a payday of INR 20.19 Lakhs and his first DPT trophy. The tournament drew an impressive 258 entries and collected INR 1,16,10,000, which was finally shared by the top 33 players with a min-cash being INR 1,17,390. Archit Khandelwal placed runner-up, earning an impressive 14.38 Lakhs for his deep run.
The INR 1.10 lakhs buy-in High Roller event was the second biggest highlight of the series and this event crowned a champion in none other than the inaugural DPT Main Event champion Raghav Bansal, who bested a field of 47 entries, collecting INR 16.86 Lakhs for his top notch performance. Close behind him was Baazi Games CEO Navkiran Singh who banked INR 12,04,375 for his runner-up finish.

DPT Legacy: A Quick Overview
From its inaugural edition in 2016 featuring a ground-breaking 1 Crore GTD Main Event, the Deltin Poker Tournament carved a niche for itself in India’s live poker scene. The series has been getting bigger and bolder with each edition with the prize pools increasing like never before. The success of the event is evident from the tremendous participation and the applause it has received from the poker community. Since its start, there have been many players who have showcased their talent and etched their names in poker history.
Poker pro Raghav Bansal became the first-ever DPT main event champion by nailing the tournament in 2016. Bansal clinched the victory for a prize money of INR 30.60 Lakh after beating Akash Malik in the heads-up. Malik settled for a pay cheque of INR 18,87,000 as the runner-up finisher. After the main event, the highroller has been one of the most-sought after tournaments on the DPT schedule. Introduced in the second season of the DPT, it continues to be favourite among the high-stakes players in the country. Started with INR 60K buy-in, the event has now a whopping INR 1.10 Lakh buy-in. The first-ever DPT High Roller crowned a champion in Rohit Tiwari. With a buy-in of INR 60,000, the event drew in 171 players, doubling up the prize pool to record a massive INR 1.02 Crore. The top 18 players were paid out with Tiwari walking away with INR 27,70,000, the heftiest payday of the edition. Y J Kim finished runner-up, banking a hefty INR 17,45,000 prize.
