The World Poker Tour is gearing up for their highly anticipated WPT World Championship, which will be held at Wynn Las Vegas this December. To spice up things further, the WPT is hosting a number of tournaments, especially in Asia, giving players the opportunity to play the final table of the biggest poker event this December. WPT will host the WPT Cambodia Passport to the World Championship from July 12 – 23, 2024, following their first Passport to the World Championship in Hanoi, Vietnam, this May.
For the second time this year, WPT is visiting NagaWorld Integrated Resort in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for their festival. The highlight of this festival is the $500,000 guaranteed WPT Cambodia Championship Event. The eventual champion of the event will receive a transferable $10,400 entry to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in addition to 7 nights of accommodation (total value of $12,230). The runner-up and third-place finishers will receive transferable $1,100 WPT Prime tickets for the WPT World Championship. Furthermore, six other winners will secure a seat at the main event of WPT Championship 2024.
WPT Cambodia Main Event – Package to WPT Championship 2024
Players looking to secure a WPT World Championship Package can focus on the upcoming main event of WPT Cambodia Passport to the World Championship. In this event, players have the opportunity to win a transferable $10,400 World Championship Entry along with seven nights of accommodation, making the total package value $12,230.

The Championship event kicks off on July 18, featuring three starting flights, each with a buy-in of $1,300. The blinds start with 40-minute levels, extending to 60-minute levels from Level 10 onwards. Players begin with a 40,000 chip stack and must navigate through Day 2 and Day 3 before the crowning of the champion.
There are two other events with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. The Championship Warm Up and 8 Max Survivor are the other two multi-day events. Additionally, WPT Cambodia will also have six daily satellite events for a $300 buy-in starting on July 13, along with a final $50 flip satellite for players who prefer low stakes.
WPT World Championship 2024 Main Event Entries for the Winners
Aside from winning a package to the WPT World Championship 2024, WPT Cambodia will also offer six entries to the main event of the World Championship $1,100 WPT Prime Championship. Two of these entries are reserved for the players who secure second and third places in the Championship Event. The remaining four entries can be earned through participating in these four side events at WPT Cambodia:

8 Max Survivor 1.5k Bounty – July 15-17, 2024
Mini Championship – July 21-22, 2024
3K HR – July 22-23, 2024
WPT Cambodia High Roller Events
For high rollers seeking intense poker action, the festival offers a range of high-tier buy-in events. Two main highlights of the High Roller events are the 5k Single Day Challenge and the 5k Super High Roller, each with a $5,000 buy-in.
In addition to the high roller events, you will see a $1,650 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) High Roller event for Omaha enthusiasts thus providing a variety of events to everyone.
WPT Cambodia Championship 2024 First WPT Main Tour in Asia
The first WPT Main Tour in Asia was held in Cambodia at Nagaworld Integrated Resort earlier this year. The $3,300 Main Event was a grand success, attracting 760 entries and creating a total prize pool of $2,432,760. Germany’s Konstantin Held emerged as the champion and took home $361,310. Also making mark in this event was India’s Amit Kaushik who finished 5th for an impressive $118,906.
