There several prominent Indian pros competing in the ongoing festival including Deepak Bothra, Dhaval Mudgal, Kush Kataria, Vaibhav Sharma, Gagandeep Malik and several others. Notably, Indian poker pros have made their presence felt with several final table finishes at the festival, continuing their remarkable streak of success following their stellar performances at the WSOP, WPT Cambodia, and APPT Manila. Currently in the spotlight is Kapadia Abdeali Mannan, who has etched his name in the history books by winning Event #30: Mystery Bounty Turbo.

This victory marks India’s first triumph at the ongoing series, earning Mannan a prize of MYR 30,500 from a total prize pool of MYR 143,500. Additionally, Mannan also secured an impressive bounty of MYR 15,700, bringing his total winnings from the event to a substantial MYR 46,200. India’s Deepak Bothra Chip Leads Into Event #36: Monster Stack Final Day

In another thrilling development, several Indian players are vying for glory in Event #36: Monster Stack. Leading the pack is India’s Deepak Bothra, who enters the final day with a massive stack of 1,544,000 chips. Close behind him is Vaibhav Sharma with 823,000 chips. Other Indian players still in contention include WPT Vietnam Main Event champion Dhaval Mudgal with 734,000 chips, Gagandeep Malik with 319,000 chips, and Kush Kataria with 159,000 chips.

Other Prominent Winners From Poker Dream 11 Malaysia So Far

The Poker Dream 11 Malaysia festival kicked off on August 1, 2024, in grand style with Event 1: Malaysia Open attracting an overwhelming 2,196 entries. This impressive turnout resulted in a record prize pool of MYR 2,408,804 ($545,000). Malaysia’s Xin Chin emerged victorious, claiming his first-ever poker title and a personal best MYR 410,000 ($92,750) in winnings.

Another record-breaking turnout was witnessed in Event 19: Mystery Bounty, which drew 767 entries, an impressive 35% increase from its previous record (569 entries). This took the prize pool to a massive MYR 1,900,000 (~$429,800) and set the top bounty prize at a record RM 140,000 (~$31,700). Malaysia’s Ang Yang Siang locked up the win and the MYR 238,000 top prize. In addition, Ang collected RM 26,500 in bounties for total winnings of MYR 264,500 (~$59,800). This was Siang’s third career win, all from Poker Dream, with this as his career best result.

Several high roller events have also reached their conclusion. An impressive turnout was seen at Event 15: High Roller with 113 entries building a prize pool of MYR 1,512,618 (~$342,180). WSOP bracelet winner Martin Finger from Germany who has over $8 Million in live earnings, clinched the victory, adding a Poker Dream title and an impressive MYR 380,700 (~$86,100) top prize to his resume.

The biggest winner at ongoing series so far is none other than the 2024 APPT Super High Roller (Event #43) champion Christopher Michael Soyza, who also finished 32nd – PHP 305,000 in the 2024 APPT Main Event recently. One of the highly accomplished players from Malaysia, Soyza overcame a star-studded field in #25 Super High Roller at Poker Dream 11 Malaysia, taking home a massive MYR 869,000 from a massive prize pool of MYR 3,453,588. Fresh off his APPT Super High Roller win, Soyza continues to dominate, bringing his exceptional skills to the forefront at Poker Dream 11 Malaysia.
