Event #99: $1,000 Super Turbo No-Limit Hold’em was the last bracelet event of the series. After one long day of intense play, Lithuania’s Aneris Adomkevicius emerged victorious. He overcame a field of 1,544 hopefuls to take home the top prize money of $201,355 and his first WSOP bracelet.

The heads-up for the title between Aneris Adomkevicius and Mark Newhouse lasted just twenty minutes. Newhouse failed to improve, and Adomkevicius took down the last event of the WSOP 2024.

Indian players made a strong showing in the event, with poker coach Abhishek Goindi leading the charge. The PokerBaazi Team Pro finished 32nd for $5,954. This impressive run marked Goindi’s sixth cash of the series, bringing his total earnings to $22,076. One of the key highlight of his run in this event was doubling up through poker legend Daniel Negreanu on the bubble. His pocket nines held up against Negreanu’s jack-nine offsuit. His journey finally ended when he jammed his 5BB stack with A2 and got called by pocket sixes. Although he flopped the ace, it was not enough for him to get there.

Apart from Goindi, Rahul Melwani (69th place for $2,714), Abhishek Paul (86th for $2,602) and Siddarth Singhvi (165th for $2,004) also cashed this event, adding to their series winnings.
