Social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) is heating up after Vanessa Kade criticized the crypto-based poker platform CoinPoker for hiring Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle. Kade’s criticism led to a feud with her former ACR Poker peer and vlogger Ryan Depaulo.

The PokerStars Sunday Million winnerVanessa Kade has been very vocal about her values and beliefs, whether it’s criticizing GGPoker for hiring the alleged sexist and misogynistic Dan Bilzerian or stepping down from American Card Room (ACR) because of differences in values.

Vanessa Kade’s Criticism of CoinPoker Leads To A Social Media Feud

The Canadian poker pro quoted PokerProNews’s X post about CoinPoker hiring Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle to its ambassador roster. Kade wrote, “I love this industry so much, but it’s so disheartening to see players can be overt sexists, and it carries exactly no consequences whatsoever,” calling the Raise Your Edge founder Benjamin Rolle an “overt sexist.”

On Instagram in June 2024, a user questioned Rolle, asking, “Why do you think men have an advantage over women?” Rolle replied, “Anyone arguing that men have no advantage in poker is simply delusional. Why are there barely any women in the top 100 all-time money list?”

He further said, “One main reason is that men are simply more competitive.” This led to massive controversy, with several female players, including Kade, calling out Rolle.

Ryan Depaulo Hits Out At Kade For Her Response To The Roller Hire

While Kade was highlighting a serious issue, her response didn’t go well with several players, who argued with her on the topic, including Ryan Depaulo, who was fired from ACR Poker earlier this year. Depaulo, ACR Poker’s former ambassador and content creator, actually escalated the feud to an unwanted extent. Depaulo fired back at Kade: “You produce no content, you do not stream anymore, and you were a negative, toxic life-suck as a co-worker.”

Both Kade and Depaulo were part of American Card Room; Kade left in 2022, while Depaulo was fired earlier this year. The content creator then wrote that Kade benefited from her gender and supported Rolle.

Kade responded to the post, stating that when she was part of ACR Poker, Depaulo provoked her by calling her trash and other things in the ACR Poker Team Pro Chats. “He repeatedly harassed a number of women, including other female streamers and female customers on the site,” Kade alleged.

“Send any and all receipts, any and all receipts you have. This is not true, a total lie. The biggest lie is that you haven’t heard of me, but no, you got fired. You got fired, bro,” Depaulo challenged Kade, responding to her claim. “I am guilty of, upon reflection, being not nice to you when you came to join ACR Poker,” Depaulo said in his second video.

Kade Responds With Screenshots

Vanessa Kade accepted the challenge, sharing several screenshots of the ACR Group Chat. This was during the time she criticized GGPoker for hiring Dan Bilzerian and GGPoker canceled Kade’s affiliate account.

“Kade, stop being a clown. You can’t have it both ways—be popular solely because you are a woman, yet play the SJW victim and blast GG,” Depaulo wrote on the day Kade joined the ACR group chat in 2021.

A week before joining ACR Poker, Kade won PokerStars’ 15th Anniversary Sunday Million for a whopping $1.5 million, becoming a prominent figure in female poker. This grabbed the attention of several online platforms, and ACR was one of them.

While Kade wasn’t interested in arguing with Depaulo, he continued poking at her, saying, “I’m sorry it’s three days after women’s day after all.” This led to other ACR Pros asking both of them to solve the issue in DMs rather than in the group chat.

It wasn’t the first time Depaulo poked at Kade. During the GGPoker feud, Depaulo sided with Dan Bilzerian and allegedly called Kade trash on his FT stream. To resolve the argument, all the ACR pros got on a team call, where Depaulo grudgingly apologized—only to call Kade trash again on the video call.

After this conversation, Kade blocked him on all social media platforms. Despite this, Depaulo continued trolling her, leading to a toxic environment in the ACR Team Chat. Kade wrapped up her thread, clarifying that she quit ACR Poker and wasn’t fired, as claimed by Depaulo.

Seeing the thread, one user said, “Can see why ACR sacked this guy.” While others said, It was the lamest Twitter feud ever. The feud surely had diverted the core argument of CoinPoker hiring Rolle to its ambassador roster.
