Alex Foxen Ships His 8th PGT Title
Alex Foxen, fresh off his Triton Main Event victory at the 2024 WSOP Paradise, has once again proven his dominance on the high-stakes circuit. After an 803-day drought, Foxen has finally added another PGT trophy to his collection, securing his career 8th gold bracelet. His last PGT victory came in January 2023, making this long-awaited win even more significant.
Foxen emerged victorious in Event #7 of the 2025 PGT PLO, a $15,100 buy-in tournament that attracted 70 entries, generating a $1,050,000 prize pool. With the win, he pocketed a six-figure payday of $315,000, pushing his total live tournament earnings past the $45 million mark. This milestone also solidifies his standing at 15th place on Hendon Mob’s all-time money list.
The event paid out the top 10 finishers, with the final four players each taking home a six-figure payout. Josh Arieh rounded out the podium, collecting $141,750, while Jesse Lonis finished runner-up, securing $204,750.

Shannon Shorr Ships His First Live WSOP Title
Shannon Shorr, a seasoned poker pro with two WSOP online bracelets and one WSOP Circuit online ring, has now achieved a long-awaited milestone—his first live WSOP Main Event title. Shorr triumphed in Event #15: $1,700 NLH Main Event at the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Las Vegas, taking home a top prize of $207,615.

The $1,700 buy-in event saw 774 entries across three starting flights, surpassing its guarantee and creating a massive prize pool. The top 117 finishers secured payouts, with the action heating up on Day 2 as the remaining players battled for the title. Ultimately, it was Shorr who outlasted them all, clinching his second WSOP Circuit ring and edging closer to $15 million in total live earnings on the Hendon Mob.
John Longowa finished in third place, collecting $96,751, while Jordyn Miller finished runner-up, earning $138,394.
