Finland’s Samuli Sipila is the newest champion crowned at the 2024 PGT PLO Series. Sipila came out on top of 89 entrants in Event #4: $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha, securing a career-high score of $240,300 and his first-ever PokerGO Tour title. This was the third major live title for Sipila. He now has $1,012,911 in live earnings to his name.

The top 13 players made money in this tournament, with six of them returning for the final day battle inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas. Arthur Morris started the day with the chip lead, with Sipila holding the second largest stack. Sipila started with a bang by knocking out Artem Maksimov ($44,500) in sixth place. Sipila then busted Cruz in fifth place ($62,300). His next victim was Christopher Frank who moved all in with two pairs facing the flush draw and gutshot of Sipila. Both draws came in and Frank had to settle for $80,100 as the fourth-place finisher.

Sipila won a big pot off of Morris that left Morris on fumes. Morris shoved his remaining stack with a pair, but could not beat the overpair held by Sipila. Morris earned $111,250 for his third-place finish.
After a back and forth battle in the heads-up, Christopher finally shoved with Ks Jh 7d 6 facing the As Jd Jc 7h of Spila. The board ran out 8s 7s 3h 6c 3d, giving Sipila the winning two pair to win the title. Christopher banked $155,750 as the second-place finisher, his career-high score.
