When it comes to shaping a world-class poker room, few names stand out like Ryan Beauregard. As the Executive Director of Poker Operations at Wynn Las Vegas, Beauregard has played a pivotal role in building and sustaining one of the most prestigious poker destinations in the world.

Ryan Beauregard began his journey as a dealer and rose through the ranks to helm the Poker operations at the Wynn Las Vegas. Here is a report on his early life, shaping up the Wynn Las Vegas, and its future.

Early Life and Introduction to Poker

Ryan Beauregard began his professional journey in the golf industry but decided to shift gears in 2004, relocating to Las Vegas in search of a new career path. That pivotal move introduced him to the world of poker.

He started as a break-in dealer at The Orleans poker room, where he gained firsthand experience in the field. Just a few months later, he joined the newly opened Wynn Las Vegas in 2005 as a dealer, marking the beginning of a long and impactful tenure with the brand.

Beauregard’s interest and aptitude in poker helped him rise quickly through the ranks. In 2008, he was offered the role of Senior Poker Manager at Wynn Macau. There, he spent seven years (2008–2015) building the poker room from the ground up, recruiting and training dealers, establishing systems, and immersing himself in a new poker market and culture.

In 2015, Beauregard returned to the United States to take on the role of Executive Director of Poker Operations at Wynn Las Vegas.

Ryan Beauregard has also competed in low to mid stakes poker tournaments and has multiple titles and over $33k in live earnings to his name. His biggest cash came in 2023 when he won a $160 buy-in event at 2023 Resorts World Las Vegas Recurring Tournaments, Las Vegas.

Transforming Wynn Las Vegas Into a Poker Powerhouse

In his current role, Beauregard oversees every poker-related activity at Wynn Las Vegas, from daily operations to tournament execution. Under his leadership, the poker room has become a premier destination, known for its high standards and stellar events.

Wynn Las Vegas now hosts the prestigious WPT World Championship, widely considered the second-largest poker series globally after the WSOP. In addition, the venue runs the Wynn Summer Classic, boasting a massive $40 million festival guarantee, including $10 million guaranteed for the Main Event.

The poker room also offers daily tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $160 to $300, contributing to a weekly guarantee of $200,000. On Fridays, players can participate in $40K GTD tournaments with affordable entry fees.

Cash games run daily, starting at $1/$3 and scaling up to $5/$10 and higher. According to Beauregard, the poker room sees a surge in cash game action during the summer and major tournament series, often operating over 90 tables at peak times.

What’s Next for Wynn Las Vegas?

Wynn Las Vegas celebrated its 20th anniversary in April 2025, marking two decades of excellence since its opening in 2005. The poker room continues to evolve, offering enhanced player experiences and elite-level events.

This summer, the spotlight is on the Wynn Summer Classic, featuring a $40 million guaranteed prize pool. The crown jewel of the series is the Wynn Summer Championship, which features a $10,400 buy-in and a $10 million guarantee. Wynn has also partnered with PokerAtlas, a platform that allows players to reserve seats in advance, a valuable feature during peak seasons when cash games are in high demand
