Dominating the current GPI Poker Rankings globally is Jesse Lonis with the highest total of 4,121.66 GPI points. The USA-based player has continued to dominate the ranking for ten weeks now.
Jesse Lonis made headlines earlier this year for registering three final table finishes along with one title at the coveted PokerGO Tour – PGT U.S. Poker Open 2024 (USPO) event held in Las Vegas in April 2024. He claimed the title at the No Limit Hold’em – U.S. Poker Open (Event #2) event for an impressive sum of $252,450.
Most recently, the pro player who ranks 133rd on the All-Time Money list was seen participating in the 55th World Series of Poker (WSOP). At the latest 2024 edition of WSOP Jesse Lonis recorded three live cashes and one WSOP Online cash. The two-time WSOP bracelet winner narrowly missed his third bracelet at the No Limit Hold’em – High Roller (Bracelet Event #92) event, wherein he settled for the runner-up spot and pocketed an envy-worthy paycheque of $1,358,633.
At the second spot is Tony ‘Ren’ Lin. The Chinese player sits at the second spot for the past ten weeks, currently boasting 3,952.21 GPI points. Tony Lin’s recent achievements include six live cashes at 2024 WSOP and one cash in WSOP Online 2024. This includes a third-place finish at the Limit Razz Championship (Bracelet Event #50) event. Here he took home $130,447 for his second runner-up finish.
Adrian Mateos from Spain takes the third spot with 3,937.87 GPI points. The four-time WSOP bracelet winner recorded six cashes at the recently concluded 2024 WSOP season, the best cash being $681,554 which he claimed after finishing fourth place at No Limit Hold’em – High Roller – 8-Handed (Bracelet Event #39).
The fourth place was taken by Jose “Nacho” Ignacio Barbero. The Argentine WSOP bracelet winner flaunts 3,870.98 GPI points at the fourth spot on GPI rankings. He recently registered seven cashes at the 55th WSOP 2024 at the No Limit Hold’em – High Roller (Bracelet Event #92) event taking home $685,405 as his highest WSOP 2024 cash.
At the fifth place is Thailand’s Punnart Punsri, who takes the fifth spot for $685,405. With nine cashes to his credit earned from the 2024 WSOP edition. The high-stakes pro narrowly missed his first-ever WSOP bracelet after he finished at the runner-up spot at the 2024 WSOP No Limit Hold’em – 8-Handed (Bracelet Event #87). He bagged $523,648 for this finish.
