Following a thrilling three-way ICM deal among France’s Florent Remi, Australia’s Joshua McCully, and Germany’s Konstantin Held. Held claimed victory, etching his name on the iconic Mike Sexton Cup. India’s Amit Kaushik finished 5th in this event.
APT Manila Classic 2025 – February 7 – 16, 2025
The Asian Poker Tour is going to host a multiple poker festival in 2025 with the first stop kicking off from February 7th to 16th. It features an impressive line up with 95 trophy events and a massive ₱143 million (~$2,400,000) in total festive guarantees.
The poker festival’s key highlights include the APT Classic 2025 Main Event, featuring a guarantee of ₱60,000,000 (~$1,000,000). Besides, this APT Manila Classic features a daily women’s event, honoring and empowering women in poker. USA’s Daniel Lee emerged victorious in the previous edition of APT Manila 2024 Main Event, earning $258,645.
Poker Dream 16 Jeju 2025 – February 15 – 24, 2025
After a successful stop at Poker Dream 15 Malaysia, Poker Dream is returning to Jeju from February 14th to 24th. The popular poker festival will take place inside the stunning Landing Casino Jeju, South Korea. As always, the series highlight is its Main Event, featuring a gigantic $1.5 million GTD, with an affordable buy-in of $830. The last stop of Poker Dream at Jeju saw China’s Kong Qingtao lifting the prestigious Poker Dream Main Event trophy and a first-place prize of $187,261.
Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju – 26 Feb – 14 Mar, 2025
The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series will kick off its 2025 Season from Jeju. Jeju has been a regular stop for Triton since 2018. The series will take place at the luxurious Landing Casino Jeju in Shinhwa World. Although Triton hasn’t revealed the schedule, it will feature 18 tournaments with high buy-ins, offering high-stakes poker action to high-roller enthusiasts.
Czech’s Roman Hrabec won the 2024 Triton Poker SHRS Jeju Main Event for a whopping $4,330,000.
Manila Super Series 21 2025 – February 1 – 9, 2025
Manila Super Series 21 from PokerStars Live is all set to take place from February 1st to 9th, 2025 at the luxurious Okada Manila. The nine-day poker series features several trophy events along with ₱21,000,000 (~$357,000) in prize pools. Besides the prize pools, several players will also get free seats in the upcoming Asia Pacific Poker Tour 2025.
The crown jewel of the series is the ₱10,000,000 (~$170,000) Main Event, featuring an accessible buy-in of ₱18,500 (~$320), making it an attractive option for players of all levels.
In the previous Super Series 20 held in May 2024, Japan’s Chogo Kento emerged victorious, triumphing over a massive field of 1,277 entries to claim an impressive top prize of ₱3,550,000 (~$61,241).
