The Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings are a great tool to know the current standings of poker players across the world and who is in their best form achieving great results. The GPI rankings award players with GPI points based on their results in the most notable poker events. These results could include their wins as well as finishes in the given tournament.
Based on the points they earn, the players are ranked on the GPI rankings. Interestingly, the GPI rankings also have dedicated lists of players specialized according to countries, continents and gender. Thus while there is a general GPI rankings leaderboard, there is also a GPI rankings dedicated to all the beautiful female players in the circuit.
The latest Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings for female players have long-time poker pro Kristen Foxen leading from the top. With 2,654.07 GPI points, she continues her dominance in the global poker scene. Kristen Foxen has been a seasoned pro best for her strategic brilliance and consistent performances. Her exceptional skill and dedication to the game has driven her to success and amazing results.
Kristen Foxen was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, where she began playing poker in her freshman year at college. She was inspired by professional poker player, Jennifer Harman, and regularly watched her on Poker After Dark. She initially started playing poker online in the year 2006 on online poker sites PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.
The Canadian pro who is currently living in the US has been enjoying a great year so far. She started her 2024 campaign by shipping the PKRGO $10,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em – PGT Kickoff (Event #5) at
PokerGO Tour – 2024 PGT Kickoff in Las Vegas. She took home the coveted title for a paycheque of an impressive$165,000.
In addition to the title, she recorded three other final table finishes apart from a handful other cashes at the same series. Her final table finishes include a third place finish at the PKRGO $5,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em – PGT Kickoff (Event #3) for $49,275. This was followed by an eighth place finish at PKRGO $ 10,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em – PokerGO Cup (Event #4) for $ 32,400.
A couple of days later she narrowly missed taking down the PKRGO $ 15,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em – PokerGO Cup (Event #7) by finishing at the runner-up spot for a handsome $204,750.
The ongoing WSOP 2024 season too has been a good one so far for the female pro. The four time WSOP bracelet winner has recorded nine cashes so far. Her best WSOP cash so far at this year’s WSOP edition has been her 32nd place finish at the 55th WSOP 2024 $25,000 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller – 8-Handed (Bracelet Event #26) for a payday of $50,637.
At the second spot in the GPI female rankings is Cherish Andrews with 2,575.03 GPI points. Her most recent cash has been her 16th place finish at the No Limit Hold’em – LADIES Championship (Bracelet Event #71) at the WSOP 2024. The female player pocketed $7,225 for her finish.
Cherish Andrews is followed by Victoria “Trekker” Livschitz in third place with 2,472.28 GPI points. She was most recently seen at the 55th WSOP 3,000 No Limit Hold’em – Mystery Bounty (Bracelet Event #76), wherein she took the 73rd place for a sum of $15,265.
The fourth spot is taken by Nadya Magnus, who has 2,273.18 GPI points to her name. Notably, Nadya Magnus has had three cashes at the ongoing WSOP so far, with the best being $37,689, which she banked after finishing 34th at No Limit Hold’em – Monster Stack (Bracelet Event #38).
Taking the fifth spot is famous female pro Maria Ho with 2,118.96 GPI points. She is currently grinding at the WSOP and has recorded one cash at the series. This was at the 3,000 No Limit Hold’em – Mystery Bounty (Bracelet Event #76). Maria Ho finished 102nd for $13,605.
