Huang Bohao Wins Event #2 KPC Single Day High Roller
Huang Bohao topped a Chinese field and defeated his fellow countrymen Zhang Lirui in the heads-up to clinch the inaugural Korea Poker Cup in Event #2: KPC Single Day High Roller at the Landing Casino Jeju. Bohao earned a payday of KRW 55,856,000 (~$39,799).
The single-day high roller ran on November 22nd, with a buy-in of KRW 5,000,000 (~$3,570), the event registered 33 entrants, generating a total prize pool of KRW 147,246,000 (~$105,720). The event was long and grueling as only the top 5 players collected a payout.
Zhang Lirui ended up in second place and took home KRW 37,240,000 (~$26,544), while Zhang Chenxu picked KRW 23,380,000 (~$16,655) for his podium finish.

Lee Cavin Sungwon Wins Event #5: KPC Single-Day High Roller
US’s Lee Cavin Sungwon triumphed in Event #5: KPC Single-Day High Roller, scooping the Korea Poker Cup trophy, and a massive payout of KRW 53,070,000 (~$37,818).
Event #5: KRW 5,000,000 (~$3,570) buy-in KPC Single Day High Roller drew 35 entrants, generating a total prize pool of KRW 156,170,000 (~$112,130). Out of 35 players, the final six locked up a payday for their deep runs.
Zhang Lirui, who previously made a runner-up finish in Event 2 Single Day High Roller, again made a runner-up finish and failed to capture his first KPC trophy. Lirui took home KRW 36,700,000 for his impressive finish. Wong Ka Fai from Hong Kong finished at 3rd, collecting KRW 23,450,000.
