India’s Anant Acharya Wins Manila Super Series 21 DeepStack Event

The 2025 Manila Super Series 21 hosted by PokerStars LIVE Manila has officially concluded with local player Emmanuel Florendo winning the Main Event. Florendo not only took his maiden PokerStars trophy but also earned his career-best payday worth PHP 2,066,078 (~$35,238). Shining for India in the Main Event was PokerStars India Team Pro Siddharth Karia  who was doing pretty well but his run unfortunately ended18th place. He took home PHP 81,000 (~$1,381) for his efforts. 

Anant Acharya Shines for India With A Victory in Deepstack Event

While Karia made multiple cashes in the series, the biggest story for India was Anant Acharya. He made the country proud by securing a victory in Event #10: DeepsStack where he overcame a competitive field of 134 entries and eventually defeated the UK’s Ashley Patterson in a heads-up battle to claim the title and a PHP 356,780 (~$6,105) payday. This victory marked Acharya’s first-ever live title and career-best score.

Ashley Patterson claimed $3,825 for his runner-up finish in the tournament. Korea’s Junhoon Chung rounded out the podium finishes to collect a PHP159,500 (~$2,730) payday. 

The impressive turnout for this particular event generated a total prize pool of PHP1,429,780 (~$24,390) crushing the specified GTD PHP1 Million. Besides Anant Achary, Asian poker circuit regular Harish Kumar Asnani from India also ran deep, finishing 12th to collect PHP29,000 (~$495).

Team India Score Multiple Cashes at Manila Super Series 21 Edition

Apart from Anant Acharya, several other Indians put up strong performances at the Manila Super Series 22. Three Indians cashed in Event #18: Mystery Bounty, which was France’s Marc Gange for  PHP 420,000 ($7,190). Chirag Shah finished 29th for PHP 16,000, Siddharth Karia finished 30th, and Harish Kumar Asnani placed 36th, earning them the same amount. Besides, Ankit Bhardwaj made waves in Event#38: Mini Main Event placing 5th for $1,940 (PHP 112,500)

Manila Super Series 21 Wraps Up – Eyes Now on Manila Megastack 22

Following the conclusion of Manila Super Series 21, players can now look forward  the 22nd edition of the Manila Megastack, which comes with over ₱34 Million in guarantees. The festival will run from March 13 to 23 at Okada Manila, Philippines.
