After making a bankroll of $6,500, Jeremy Ausmus shifted to Las Vegas, with a dream of becoming a professional poker player. He started his journey by playing Cash Games at different poker rooms in Las Vegas. He played $5/$10, $10/$20 cash games at Wynn Las Vegas and DoylesRoom.
He also began playing online cash games after the enforcement of UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act). He started playing online cash games on Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, until Black Friday, which changed Ausmus’s life forever.

During 2008 – 2011, Ausmus wasn’t very serious about poker tournaments with very few tournaments cashes.
However, Ausmus’ career defining moments came in 2012, when he final-tabled the $10k WSOP Main Event.
