2024 was a historic year for women’s poker with several record-breaking moments, historic tournaments, and massive prize pools. We saw plenty of women etching their names in history, including Kristen Foxen, Liv Boeree,  Maria Konnikova, Shiina Okamoto, Vivian Saliba, Jessica Vierling, Kasey Lyn Mills, Jessica Vierling, Katie Lindsay, and Maria Lampropulos. Let us relive the top moments of women in poker 2024.

October 2024: Kristen Foxen becomes the woman with the most WSOP bracelets after securing the fifth one in the WSOP Online Series. She won a 2024 WSOP Online $1,000 buy-in six-max no-limit hold ’em event for $56,703 and her fifth career bracelet, extending her lead as the all-time female WSOP bracelet leader. Not only this but she was also inducted into the Women’s in Poker Hall of Fame, which was a significant milestone in her career. She was also the last woman standing in the WSOP 2024 Main Event.

December 2024: Liv Boeree makes a triumphant return to poker by making history at WSOP Paradise. She finished fourth in the Super Main Event, winning $2.8 million, the largest prize ever won by a female player in a tournament. With the latest score, she moved to fourth place on the women’s all-time money list, surpassing popular poker pro Maria Ho.

October 2024: Maria Konnikova wins her first bracelet after a win in the $888 NLHE Fall Crazy 8s in WSOP Circuit Online for $68K. A bestselling author, journalist, and PokerStars ambassador, Konnikova also won the WSOPC Online Main Event for her first ring and $ 57,532 in January 2024.

July 2024: Japanese player Shiina Okamoto becomes the first Japanese woman to win a WSOP bracelet after taking down the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $1,000 Ladies NLH Championship. Okamoto defeated Jamie Kerstetter in a heads-up play to win the top prize of $171,732.

September 2024: Brazil’s Vivian Saliba wins her first WSOP bracelet at the 2024 WSOP Europe. The 888poker ambassador topped a field of 229 entries in Event #4: €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha to earn her first WSOP bracelet and €91,400 in top prize money.

January 2024: Poker commentator Kasey Lyn Mills wins two WSOP-C rings back-to-back at WSOP Circuit Choctaw, etching her name in the poker world for 2024. Known as ‘Poker Mommaa’, she first won the $1,000 Monster Stack for $66,009 for her first ring. The next event she played was the $400 Finale event, in which she emerged victorious again for $22,433.

May 2024: German poker pro Jessica Vierling wins one of the biggest WSOP Circuit Main Events in history for a career-best of $328,273 and her second ring at The Commerce Casino and Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

October 2024: ACR Poker Ambassador Katie Lindsay becomes the first woman to win a Moneymaker Tour Main Event title. She outlasted the 325-entrant field in the Moneymaker Tour Aruba Main Event to claim a career-high score of $102,915.

November 2024: Argentina`s Maria Lampropulos becomes the first-ever Women’s Winter Festival Main Event champion. The inaugural main event drew a record 271 entries, making it the biggest women’s event ever held outside Las Vegas. Maria topped the field to get the first prize of £20,000.
