The 21st edition of Manila Megastack has officially concluded with Australian player Graham Cowan emerging as the Manila Megastack 21 Main Event Champion and collecting a career-best $54,749 along with the coveted PokerStars trophy. Philippines’ Renaldo Kris Tan shipped the Mini Main Event for $8,170 payout and the coveted PokerStars trophy.
Graham Cowan Triumphs in Manila Megastack 21 Main Event
The ₱45,000 (~$771) buy-in attracted 467 entries across four starting flights to battle it out for the ₱20 Million (~$342,705) guaranteed prize pool. It was filled with local players, with very few foreign players. Only the top 71 collected a share of the prize pool. Team India’s Chirag Shah made it into the money but eventually fell short of the final table, collecting ₱96,000 (~$1,642) for his 36th place finish.
When the field whittled down to the final table, the eventual winner Graham Cowan was third in chips but he got off to a flying start as he eliminated Mark Almusajin in 9th place. Later, he eliminated Ju Won Chung (5th) during the five-handed play. He eventually clashed against Kim Enriquez in heads-up and went on to defeat him to clinch the coveted title and ₱3,200,000 (~$54,749). Enriquez received an impressive ₱2,373,500 (~$40,608) for his 2nd place finish, whereas Alexis Lim picked up ₱2,502,500 (~$42,815) for his 3rd place finish. Besides the payout, the top 3 players received 2025 APPT Main Event Packages worth ₱125,000 each.

Renaldo Kris Tan Ships Manila Megastack 21 Mini Main Event
One of the last events of Manila Megastack 21 saw an impressive 176 turnout with ₱15,000 (~$260) buy-in. The impressive turnout smashed the ₱1,000,000 guarantee, doubling the total prize pool to ₱2,253,504 (~$36,635). Of the 176 entries, 27 players collected a payout.
As the dust settled, it was local Renaldo Kris Tan who shipped the Mini Main Event for an impressive $8,170 payday. India’s Harish Kumar Asnani put up a strong fight against Tan for the PokerStars trophy. He ultimately finished in 2nd place for a $5,100 payout. Tan’s fellow countryman Lloyd Locsin rounded out the podium, finishing third to collect $3,645.
