The inaugural World Series of Poker Poker (WSOP) Paradise 2023 wrapped up successfully with a lot of players walking away with the coveted titles and massive winnings. The spotlight ultimately fell on Stanislav Zegal who emerged as the first-ever champion of WSOP Paradise 2023 Main Event after defeating a competitive field of 3,010 challengers. He earned $2 Million and his first WSOP gold bracelet.

This was a memorable victory for Zegal, a GGPoker qualifier, who displayed a remarkable strategy and skill to win his maiden WSOP bracelet within four hours on the final day of the WSOP Paradise 2023 ME. He eventually defeated Michael Sklenicka in a heads-up, with the latter banking $1.20 Million.

Reflecting on his win, Zegal said, “I was so lucky, the cards just fell my way all the time. I think I played well too, but obviously (there’s) tons of luck … “This is what you call life-changing money, I guess.”
