GGPoker, in collaboration with GTO Wizard, has banned 31 players’ accounts for violating the site’s fair play rules.
The use of GTO when playing online poker has been the talk of the poker industry for more than a month. An ACR Team Pro’s use of GTO Wizard while playing online started all of this, and subsequently, players caught another ACR pro using GTO. This eventually started a debate among players about the use of real -time assistance (RTA) while playing online, as it is against the spirit of the game, and is also against the rules of several online poker platforms.
In a recent development, one of the popular poker sites, and the parent company of the World Series of Poker, GGPoker, has banned as many as 31 players from using RTA.
Besides banning them from its sites, GGPoker, now the owner of the prestigious World Series of Poker, has also hinted at banning those 31 players from the World Series of Poker. GGPoker has been very vocal about banning players for real -time assistance (RTA). In 2020, the site announced the banning of 40 players for using RTA while playing.
The world’s largest online poker platform has yet to reveal the 31 players’ names; however, enthusiasts will be watching the WSOP to see if there is a notable absence of players.
