The Poker Sports League (PSL) has become an iconic and massive event in the Indian poker scene. The league celebrates the game of poker as a sport of skill, strategy, and mental fortitude. It is India’s first and only franchise based poker league having teams based on prominent Indian cities and states.
After five successful and groundbreaking seasons, the organisers are back with another glorious edition of Poker Sports League Season 6. Season 6 arrives with a promise to elevate the excitement even further. This season has more teams, seven teams in Season 6 as compared to six teams in Season 5. The stakes have also increased as this season has a prize pool that’s bigger than ever before with ₹2 crore up for grabs.

Poker Sports League Season 1 (2017)
The inaugural season included five days of action at Poker Sports League. The season saw many teams switching up and down on the PSL Leaderboard. Finally, it was team Delhi Panthers who came very strongly and emerged the champion of the opening season of the PSL. The team won 1.5 Crores as the top prize money for becoming the first ever winning team of Poker Sports League.
Team Mumbai Anchors finished as runners-up taking home the prize money of Rs. 1 crore. The winning team was mentored by Akash Malik. The other team players of Delhi Panthers included Vinod Megalmani, Aman Dhamija, Akshay Nasa, Samay Modi, Kunal Bhatia, Prashant Bhutoria, Dhruv Patel and Erik Rise.
Poker Sports League Season 2 (2018)
The league returned for a second season in 2018, with eleven teams pitting against each other in a tough and raging battle. It was Team Goan Nuts headed by pro Dhaval Mudgal that emerged victorious and bagged the ₹2 Crores top prize cheque.
The winning team comprised of players like Dylan Linde, Kevin Macphee, Ravi Goel, Sagar Gogia, Gauav Verma, Jaskirat Singh, Young Gun Abhinav Iyer, Aman Dhamija, Firoz Khan, Siddharth Karia, Pranay Chawla, Pranav Khadalkar, and Kshito Kucheria.
Team Gujarat Falcons came in second and finished runner up place winning ₹1.2 Crores.
Poker Sports League Season 3 (2021)
After a two year hiatus, the PSL returned in 2021 in a digital format. The Deccan Aces owned by Sam Reddy and Vijay Madduri and including skipper Kunal Patni, pros Rajat Sharma, Abhishek Rathod, Vaibhav Sharma, Neel Joshi, Chiraag Patel, Muskan Sethi, Myron Pereira and Dhirendra Kumar took home the winning title this season.
Poker Sports League Season 4 (2022)
PSL Season 4 of the Poker Sports League was held in 2022. The season witnessed Kolkata Kings, led by Shardul Parthasarathi, emerging triumphant and winning ₹72 Lakhs. The players were also awarded an additional success fee.
Kolkata Kings, the winning team was owned by PokerDangal co-founders Kunal Gupta, Karan Gandhi, and Varun Puri, featuring Team Captain Shardul Parthasarathi, Team Pro Ashish Ahuja, and Ankit Wadhawan, Niharika Bindra, Vinayak Bajaj, Mohit Bohra, Rishit Kumar, Payal Sharma, Shane Oswald Hodges, Ashish Mudgil, Pulkit Pandey and Priya Agarwal.
The defending champions Deccan Aces came second, collecting ₹48 Lakhs in prize money.
Poker Sports League Season 5 (2023)
The last season of PSL was held in 2023, which saw Mumbai Anchors led by Laksh Pal Singh showing off their exceptional talent and determination winning the championship title and a massive INR 75 Lac.
The Mumbai Anchors was owned by Mehul Shah, Puneet Mehra and Rishikesh Shah, featuring the country’s top talents in Akshay Nasa and Ankit Wadhawan (Pro), Alok Birewar (Wildcard), Dhirendra Kumar, Honey Bijlani, Nitin Gulati, Nikaas Masani, Shravan Kapoor and Avinash Tauro (Qualifiers) and Simran Malhotra (Women Qualifier).
Meanwhile, Delhi Czars closed in at the runner-up spot and walked away with INR 50 lac for their efforts.
