Ermanno Di Nicola, who last year topped a field of 3,436 players in Event #5: €550 NLH Colossus to score his first bracelet at the King’s Resort, has once again etched his name into the bracelet winner list with his second bracelet win. Di Nicola’s second bracelet victory in the 2024 WSOP Europe Event #7: €1,650 NLH has made him the third Italian player with two or more bracelets.

The 2024 WSOP Europe Event #7: €1,650 buy-in NLH drew an entry field of 351 players, creating a total prize pool of €495,910. The event attracted numerous bracelet holders, and some of them also made it into the money, including two-time bracelet winner Wing Po Liu (51st – €3,005), 2023 Event #7 winner Tobias Peters (48th), two-time bracelet winner Ilija Savevski (44th), and two-time bracelet winner Timur Margolin (18th – €4,195). 2024 WSOP Europe Event #7: €1,650 NLH 6-Max Final Table Recap

The final day of Event #7 began with 89 players, with Ermanno Di Nicola leading the chip stack, and he was in second place when reaching the final table. Rachid El Yaacoubi was the chip leader, with Korea’s Dohang Na being the shortest stack.

Dohang Na soon doubled up and knocked out Vincent Meli in 7th place. Meli moved all-in with Ah-3h against the As-Kc of Na. Ermanno Di Nicola then began narrowing down the field. He first eliminated Axel Bayout (6th – €14,600), followed by Amiel Gamliel (5th – €20,400), Traian Stanciu (4th – €29,300), and the final table chip leader Rachid El Yaacoubi in 3rd place for €53,550.

The heads-up play kicked off between Dohang Na and Di Nicola. Di Nicola held a 3:1 chip lead over Na. Despite this, Na fought back, and the heads-up battle lasted for an hour. Unfortunately, Na couldn’t overcome the chip gap and moved all-in with Ac-6h. Di Nicola snap-called with Pocket Kings. The board ran out 9c-5c-6c-Qh-9d to seal a second bracelet for Di Nicola. Di Nicola also locked up a six-figure score of €111,250, bringing his career earnings to nearly $900k.

Dohang Na, who began the final table as the short stack, finished as the runner-up, collecting €75,550 and a seat at the 2024 WSOP Europe Main Event.
